Damage meters for the PS4 please.

I can tell you that I and a number of my friends will be severely disappointed if 2.4 doesn't include damage meters along with the new class additions.

You already have dozens of people openly posting videos on twitch and youtube with parses talking about ideal rotations for t6,t9 etc.

This isn't just some third party cheat. It's an essential raid tool for endgame.

You need to allow premade groups to use parsers. If I go into an instance with 8 friends, I should be allowed to know what type of damage is being done to make improvments. Otherwise its just guesswork.

PC players get to use their meters and advance. PS4 players are continued to be left behind. You are months late on this. It's infuriating.

At least half my posts on your forums have been asking for a damage meter tool. this is ridiculous.

Keep the parse as a tool groups only have access to in premade groups if you dont want people being excluded or harassed over their dps. Because as it stands PS4 players carry a negative stigma for not having them and a number of high end fcs auto exclude players for not playing on PC. So your rules are bent.

i like the idea of it ONLY being available in a Light/Full Party that is a pre-made. maybe even just for Full Parties. however, it would be nice to use it at striking dummies too.

in any case, SE has already expressed they don't intend on having any official support for add-ons. also, the PS4 doesn't have enough RAM. the game client is already maxed out on RAM usage. so the damage meter would have to be a manual toggle. and most likely will have to replace other HUD elements while enabled.

and the PS4 actually does have enough RAM. it's just that too much of it is system reserved. only like 4.5GB is available for games. it's really pathetic. but the reserved RAM is for operations like Party Chat, Capturing screenshots/videos and live streaming of game content. and of course for the OS and hardware to properly run too. i think all we can do is pray that Sony will implement a way the user can just FULLY disable certain features. which in turn would allow for RAM to be allocated to the usage of games.
