Ungendered sit poses, please?

Did not mean to pose a loaded question, I just was seeking clarification. It largely seems preference is thr largest motivator. So if that is the case would the suggestion of a favorite pose selection be a good enough middle ground? Both sides get to express their preferences.

Modding is a small subset of players. On that site the highest viewed mod was only at 664+k. If I were to be generous and say the the actual amout of people who use mods were 5 times higher than that it would still only be around 13% of the total playerbase. Seeing as those searching for this particular mod is only 4% of that original number, not taking into consideration the view/download count could be resgistering multiple views/downloads from the same people, then it's safe to assume that across the entire modding community the amount of people looking for this particular mod is going to be largely insignificant to the total number of people who play.

Nobody ever doubted there would be interest in this, but to actively dismiss the numbers you yourself brought up because they don't paint the picture you wanted is disingenous.

How did I reject the website you brought up as a way to say there's some demand for it? I used that site to prove that even though there IS some demand for it, it seems to be rather low. That's not rejecting the fact that there's a demand at all.

If 664k people (the number from the highest viewed mod) looked at one mod then it shows that at least 664k people are using mods. And idk dude, there's a lot of ways to gauge player interest. Restaurants and retail have been gauging customer interest for a long time without people voicing their complaints. Most people don't complain directly really. Ever heard the phrase "they decide with their feet"? Certainly there are people who work at SE who look at hard numbers, player engagement, scour through Twitter/Reddit/whatever social media to gauge interest, players voice their interests or disinterest in more ways than you'd think. Tbh, the fact is the demand *is* enough for SE to consider ungendering outfits. Those same people are probably the ones who would majority support ungendered idles/sits as well. To SE, the number is significant enough to bother doing this, so it can be reasoned that ungendered sits/idles, if possible, would be at least a bit on the radar, but who know?

Part of it is users complaining, other part of it is because they know where to look in gauging user interest. Why did Google+ fail for example? Google/Youtube, Facebook and Twitter are completely different entities compared to an online game and the developers behind it. Their whole model is about gathering user data and moulding themselves to fit what they think people want so they can collect even more data and even then they get it disasterously wrong (Google+, Meta) and seeing as they control the platforms by which people communicate, it's not difficult for them to attain this data.

So since you seem dead set on being oblivious I will explain it a bit slower for you: That 664k views for the "booty mod" is a metric to see how many people are using mods. Because there are 664k people just on that one mod, it means there are at least 664k people modding. You can use that as minor baseline projection towards how other mods compare to the total number of modders since there are at least 664k modders. And yes I realize where you're going with that metric. I am telling you the numbers don't matter regardless because as you said in your words, the people who mod are likely a smaller population of people. All I was pointing to was that you don't really have an idea as to how the demand really is and that it was outside the forums; I was just showing you that there was a tangible source of demand somewhere. Going and saying "but booty mod more popular", bro that's been up for years lmao. Ofc it would have more views. It doesn't amount to much.

I already also said the couple numbers I had does *not* account for all the genderswapped stuff; you can go look at that yourself. As far as giving me numbers for demand? Yeah you really haven't. As far as the Lucky Bancho numbers went, I skimmed through our intensive, emotional, lovely convo and I probably missed it somewhere, you can find that for me bby. It still doesn't really matter as out of those Lucky Bancho numbers, you and I don't know how many of those people would want ungendered sits, since certainly not all of them use mods or play on PCs.

Can anyone explain why there are so many arguments in this thread? Even if you don't care about more poses yourself, what is the issue here?

People hit the slippery slopes of how there will no longer be race/gender identity if the new sitting poses were made gender neutral. Still waiting on someone to answer whether you can have random sitting poses like the random idle standing poses or if that argument was complete BS. I would check in game but I can't since I am at work :(

So here's a novel idea: why not link a few sites where this is discused. I'm sure you could find something on Twitter or Reddit to substantiate your claim of "lots of people outside the forums". Maybe look in your Discords upon Discords. There's bound to be something there.
