A full set of roulettes is about 50,000 Gil as a baseline, add in AIN and you get another 50-75,000 then add in rolling on everything else and selling the seal products you can easily make close to 200k per day just running roulettes and rolling on stuff and selling the products doesn’t even need the roulettes if you wanna farm more
Crafting isn’t hard just use craftingway to make the craft for you, it’s not an add on it’s a website that checks your attributes and makes a recipe for you, if you oppose that from a game purity perspective then I don’t know what to tell you. It’s literally the most legal thing possible, it spits out a macro, the game has macro support, when I played on console I typed in those macros letter by letter on a Bluetooth keyboard? Don’t act like that’s an illegal add on
Bunnies in eureka can make you millions of gold in an hour and you spend 80% of it AFK. You can do the same reflecting sprites in Bozja or running other fragment groups. Hell even running things like dal can get you rare fragments like lost excellence.
Bicolour gems can be a fantastic source of money because a lot of housing items like the purple trees from Lakeland sell for a lot considering how easy they are to obtain
Run retainers, coffers regularly award dyes that sell for a lot, open 20-30 coffers and you’ll get at least one jet black/pure white
Like there is so so many options for collecting Gil even passively, if you don’t want to engage with it then you can’t complain that you never have any money -

Also you don't need to even learn crafting to make gil. Just become a gatherer and no-brain it. You can get 330k an hour from basic mats or you can make about 400-500k with mount tokens and materia. 100 hours and you're good to go.

People also underestimate the amount of gil they amass from just playing dailies. Of course, it wouldn't be surprising that some remained broke because they simply do not play the game or have terrible spending habit, or combination of both. -

Roulettes isn't nearly enough to buy crafted gear for raiding. Not nearly. Roulettes for a week won't even but you one piece of gear back when savage was first coming out. But you know just dismiss the RP community as well. "You can buy the hairstyle on the market". Doesn't hurt me. After seeing the add-ons for glam, I don't bother with glam either now. Just whatever great I equip. -

I'm a raider progging this content and I agree with them. The gear and mounts were more than enough. The hairstyle is probably something they should have held back for the exploratory zone or a Variant reward. -

It’s a sentiment I see often in the pfs I have been into for CAR.
People try to power through because they don’t want to grind it after a week or so when the bonus will be gone.

Not as long as we only get so little of them in varying qualities.
After the long period of only savage+ content, no proper rewards in events and the absolute disaster that was the Eureka Orthos and wet mop hairstyles, this was the absolute worst time to experiment with this.

If you don’t want to do savage that’s totally fine, if you think the content is flawed regardless of its reward structure that is also fine (and I’d agree) but in this game casual content is the main money generator (as opposed to something like RuneScape where high end endgame content and skilling is the main money generator)
How can you claim you are locked out of rewards when if you really don’t want to do savage for a reward you can just do 10 hours of bunny fates and buy it instead. Where does the “casuals shouldn’t be blocked for x item” argument stop because this exact same discussion happened around the DRN hairstyle. People thought DRN was too hard and the hairstyle too rare. -

Even the marketboard is not a good excuse in my opinion (even though I like that they at least made it so it can be sold there) because the prizes are far too high and might even get higher as less and less people do this content and the first time bonus disappears.
That’s my main problem with it.
As soon as the first time bonus disappears the prizes will probably skyrocket and it will become a pseudo exclusive.
If there is a hairstyle locked behind it I would have liked to have its unlock currency be dropped significantly OR make it a guarantee for first timers to get.
That way you would have long life if the content because players would just do that content in their own pace or discord help groups instead of fearing they have to rush it now or be locked into a hard grind for content they don’t even like and have the effect of them actually doing harder content.
That would also significantly decrease the market prize. -

-You need a 40 hour grind to even unlock the recipe for it that requires a currency that was not available prior to release so you need to grind that one as well.
-Soft rework crafters so that macros dont work anymore just to make sure its enjoyable to craft <3
-It can only accept a new lvl13 materia that comes from island sanctuary or because im generous alternatively you can buy from beast tribe currencies if you have them all maxed out.
-Savage is now only 3 fights because seems like every content is being cut short nowadays
-The drops for savage are replaced with housing items.

You can consider yourself lucky when you get 150-200k per hour. double that if you're very lucky, but that's doesn't happen often.
