Not really, they actually want a mix of ALL timezones/languages on all the servers (as this means each server gets 3-4 peak playing times instead of 1). SE just recommended Ragnarok for the CURRENT EU players so that they had enough of them in one place to party,quest,exp, socialize etc. But as this has now more or less been accomplished, now they would like Japanese and North American players to join the server so that it is more well-rounded playtime wise. Because of this, it didn't make sense to say 'EU server'.

Except if there are actually new EU players and they decide to not go to Ragnarok because it's not labeled as the EU server they are going to be shafted because all the EU players migrated to Ragnarok (Assuming most EU players actually did this and most servers have far less EU players because of it).

- For things like food I definitely shouldn't have to target myself again to confirm... a single click should be enough to eat stuff. Because you can only dig in to food yourself anyway.. same for things like sparklers (why should a select myself again?)

ich habe das Problem den Devs geschildert. Sie werden sich um eine Anpassung bemühen, so dass bei Benutzung von Gegenständen, die nur auf bestimmte Charaktere/Monster angewendet werden können, nur eben diese anvisiert werden können. Wenn du also zum Beispiel eine Potion benutzen möchtest, wirst du damit kein Monster mehr anvisieren können.
I've canvassed the problem with the devs. They'll get stuck into an adjustment, so that the use of items that can only be used on specific characters/monsters can only target these. So for example when you want to use a potion, you won't be able to target a monster.

Dies sollte die Benutzung von Gegenständen besonders im Kampf erleichtern.
This should ease the use of items, especially in battle.

That's true (Maybe I only spoke about it in the English forums, but in the Live-Letter we spoke about special gear for Disciples of the Land and Hand).

Wir planen immernoch, Artefakt-ähnliche Rüstungen für Sammler und Handwerker zu implementieren. Wir können noch keinen genauen Zeitpunkt nennen aber wenn wir es implementieren werden wir uns auch darum kümmern, Teile einzubauen, die symbolisch für die verschiedenen Klassen sind. (Das wird einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen aber wir haben vor, die Gegenstände einzeln einzubauen, so dass ihr am Ende ein komplettes Set haben werdet).
We're still planning to implement gear simmilar to AF-gear for crafters and gatherers. We can't nominate a specific point in time for this, but when we implement it we'll make sure to build in features that are symbolic for the differing classes. (It will take a decent amount of time, but we're planning to build the items in individually, so that at the end you'll have a full set).

Unfortunately, I find the potions and food currently in the game insufficient. In 1.21 they are very forced. (I'm not entirely sure what he means by this, as the context is not entirely clear.) But what would really be cool would be a widget like with actions, but for potions so that they can be quickly used without macros. I'm thinking around 3-5 slots, for example on F1-F5. It would make their use easier and the potions more significant in play. Exactly where they should be in FF-style.

Gegebenen falls kann man die Leiste über die Confic dann noch aus oder einschalten, fertig.
For the eventuality, one could turn the widget on or off in the configuration menu, done.

On the topic of macros~
When I attempt to use an action via macro for which the cool-down timer is still running, we get the macro text written in the log, as if it were input incorrectly. ie: a pseudo-error message o_o;
It would be awesome if we could instead see the cooldown until the next opportunity to use the ability! :o

Auch um die momentan recht niedrige Anzahl an speicherbaren Makros werden wir uns kümmern. Außerdem wird es ein Feature zum Speichern der Ausrüstung geben. Mehr kann ich momentan leider nicht dazu sagen.

Yoshida hat sich zu deinen Fragen geäußert. Vorerst wird es diese Quests nicht geben, da sie sich lieber auf Inhalte konzentrieren möchten, die von allen gespielt werden können. Wenn man zum Beispiel Rassen-bezogene Quests einbaut, so kann nur ein Bruchteil der Spieler diese Quests auch spielen. Das heißt nicht, dass es sie nie geben wird, aber vorerst liegt die Priorität bei vielen neuen Quests, die jeder spielen kann.
Yoshida has responded to your questions. At this point these quests will not be made, because they would prefer to concentrate on content that can be played by everyone. If we were for example to build in race-based quests, then only a fraction of the players can actually play these quests. That doesn't mean that they won't ever be made, but for now the priority is making lost of new quests that everyone can play through.

I'm not going to translate this, since it would just get out of hand really quick, but Sasu has also started a story-writing game on the German forums, where you write a certain number of words and the next poster continues etc. Not sure if we'll see something simmilar here given that such a content doesn't work as well with a larger number of people and you can end up with multiple people inadvertently trying to respond to the same post at once and thus making the story confusing, but who knows.
