I have been reading the forum and other dark discussion from reddit for quite sometime now and this is what I believe it needed to be rework.

This rework allow for Darkside to change EoD/EoS from a filler attack to finisher attack as well as reduce the weaving in the burst window by 2 but also doesn't prevent anyone from keep spaming Eod/EoS if they wanted too.

Hi! I'd like to suggest the following for the Dark Knight:
He needs one more combo at lower levels, because sometimes it gets really boring doing the same combo over and over again.
I'm not too fond of the combat stance — I feel like it could be improved. Let me explain: it reminds me of Sephiroth’s stance, but being that crouched down looks odd. He should stand more upright. Some might say it’s because of the sword, but the Dark Knight is supposed to have brutal strength, so staying more upright shouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure I see the point of the Darkside/Edge thing. It's just Y mana for B damage instead of X mana for A damage. It'll take all of 20 seconds after patch launch for the optimal way to use having been mathed, and then it's no more or less complex - just wasting an extra hotbar button - than not having it.
I like the Darkside idea in general, but not when all it does is turn mana into damage for an ability that already does exactly that, turn mana into damage. -

That is because anytime Mana doesn't turn into damage it mean DAMAGE LOSS so MP can't be turned to anything that doesn't result in damage at the end of the process.

I have to say nice ideas, but it looks like some of your suggestion is from i think it was HW DRK? I might be wrong so if i'm wrong someone please doubel check and correct it. Though some of the ideas i'm seeing are strange. If anything I enjoy DT DRK because from what i see the old deliruim combo is put onto the 96 or 98 trait so you got a 2nd single or aoe ability. Personally teh DRK stance could be changed to something more menacingly, maybe the battle pose could be like sword infront of them or make the idle pose teh battle stance.

In FFXIV they really need to drop the idea that the sword has to feel heavy, because that’s already obvious—and that’s why only the Dark Knight can wield it thanks to their overwhelming strength.
So it doesn’t make sense that the current stance is so low and the attacks feel that sluggish.
The attacks should be powerful and destructive, breaking the ground or creating shockwaves…
I hope someday this happens, but well… that’s just my dream.
Also, I think your ideas about combos and synergy are really good i will love trying that!! -

Two changes I'd make:
* Make Conversion happen automatically when TBN ends and has shield left. There's no reason to make this a separate button. If FFXIV didn't have this weird delay to every ability we or an NPC uses, sure, it'd be fun. But this would just be punishing for people who are not right next to the data center but not for people who are.
* Change Dark Ritual to either be a 120s damage buff, or a defensive skill, not both. It can never be used for the second effect, so that feels a bit like a waste. I'd maybe change the DPS-effect to facilitate it being a big defensive group cooldown though? Next GCD heals a DPS for a pretty large percentage of damage dealt? That way it doesn't need the extra 4-DPS limitation, either. Oh and maybe apply the same effect to other tanks as to ourselves? -

My question would be, are we keeping Dark Mind? Because I can't see it on your list.
If we don't, you have just reduced the amount of mitigation that Dark Knight has available for every tank buster substantially.
Sure, TBN now has a heal attached but it's a 25s cooldown, still costs 3000MP, and the barrier has been changed to a 500 heal potency barrier.
To put this into perspective since I just looked at those numbers a few days ago.
Bloodwhetting gives you a 400 heal potency barrier, this amounts to roughly 22000, meaning that TBN would only give you a 27500 HP barrier.
Current TBN gives you a 67960 HP barrier with the current max HP a DrK can achieve in BiS gear.
And you now need to choose between TBN or Oblation, between a 27500 HP barrier + 15% mit or ~28% mit (with the passive trait that adds 15% to both)
While currently you have ~18-28% and a 67860 HP barrier available for almost every tank buster.
The healing of roughly 66k HP is nice, but it can't do anything if you're instantly dead. -

Right, I didn't take the two charges into account, or that the effects would stack in the first place. Feels a bit counterintuitive to have to drop both charges on yourself and then not use it again for potentially the next 50 seconds in preparation for the next buster.
And it is not too much when we compare it to Paladin's 15%+15% (Holy Shelltron)+20% (Bulwark), Gunbreaker's 15%+15% (Heart of Corundum)+10% (Camouflage)+potentially 20% (Camouflage) or current Dark Knight's 10% (Oblation) +10%/20% in most cases (Dark Mind)+25% HP barrier.
If anything the healing might need to be toned down.

Edit* Hold on! but Holy Shelton offer *2000* potency heal as well when used back to back. Maybe we can keep the heal? since it only happen every 50s.[1200 potency for every* 25s] -

While the value of mitigation have now more or less resolved. The new problem is now that DRK have to use 2 charges to get the same mit value with the current DRK.
It make this rework version unable to spend 2 charges again for the the next 50s unless we don't cast any TBN or Oblation between the gap.
Would it be too much if I make Blood Weapon grant something akin to Dark Art that allow for a free usage of TBN/Oblation? [once per minute and non stack]
