Do you use the Motionjoy drivers for your PS3 Controller? If so I found if I use the XBOX 360 Emulator on the motionjoy drivers the vibration function will work for me on my PS3 Controller. I couldnt figure out how to get the PS3 setting in motionjoy to make the vibration work :(Quote:

Everything works great with those settings, easily hit 40 + FPS in most situations. I tried upping Drawing quality by 1 and the game can barely run, oddly enough though, it looks no different. The updates have done a significant difference in my performance, you hardly need a top rig anymore to run this game beautifully. 500-600$ can get you something that'll almost max out the game. -

I lowered the AA to 2X because it any higher was too bad of a performance hit and didnt change the quality much at all. I would rather have the game run @ 60FPS 100% of the time and not look as well.
The newest AMD Drivers and the updates that XIV have made really helped performance. When the game was first released and in beta phase, I had to turn off AA and lower qualities down to standard or else the game crippled my machine.
I hope FFXIV improves the XFire/SLI issues, because my GPU's are not all used even in full screen and my CPU rarely goes above 25% usage but if I enable ambient the game is crippled, not my CPU or GPU's. I believe the issue is in the coding more so than hardware. -

If you are using a single monitor, running a game in full screen will turn off aero, there is no need to do so manually.

overall a nice balance or performance, and the game still looks amazing
one thing I would like to know though, has anyone here used crossfire cards successfully on XIV? I have the latest drivers and it still gives me huge issues each time, and I just go back to single card mode. It's not a big deal either way, because a small performance boost isn't really worth having to play full screen mode. Just curious, and hoping it's not a busted card and would rather blame the game itself -

Well i whent to best buy and got me a AMD phenom 4 ( 4 core)
removed the shitty graphix card bought me a Radion HD5750
I play with just about everything on max setting if i try to go above max setting i get unable to detect direct X
With fraps i get 45~80 FPS ( depending where im at )
My total price tag was 750 for the PC and 120 for GPU so under 1k im happy with it , it works and thats all i care about lol -

save and import. You should get no errors on the import. It should work fine after that. Well a lot better than before. The thing about SLI is it will work in windowed mode also! Unlike Xfire. However it does run a little better in Fullscreen mode.
