DF withdrawl has become the new "Fatigue" system

A lot of people were fishing for instance, and this fix is limiting them in the ability to do so.
For everything else... you have a whole minute to click on Commence, that is enough in most situations if you actually paying attention that you are in duty finder.

It was done to prevent deliberate clicking on withdraw button for self-benefit, as it was annoying as hell. As people who naturally have short queue time (i.e. tanks and healers) just fish for party in progress as it saves them a lot of time.

Expert is usually no longer than 15 mins and High is less than 20. The only long one is low level roulette due to the number of Nin leveling up, so I would recommend to avoid it if possible.

I'm finding it rather hard to imagine that people party up with FC members, suddenly someone is mysteriously AFK and this happens three times a day.

They've probably gone to sleep waiting. The players should be penalising SE for the pathetic DF system, not the other way around.

There's no need at all for these penalties to apply for 4-man dungeons with blown-out wait times. Really the only place it's an issue is CT/ST, so do it on the 24 man stuff only.

Before this was implemented, I was trying to help a friend through Toto-Rak for her story. Thirteen withdrawals before we finally got in. I counted. It took us twenty minutes from the time the duty popped to the time we actually entered the dungeon.

So yes, it actually was a problem on 4-man dungeons too.

It happening once anecdotally does not mean it's a huge problem overall. I do 4-mans half a dozen times a day for various reasons, and withdrawals rarely turn into any big deal.

Twenty minutes was excessive, but I would routinely get withdrawal spam for up to five minutes or so on 4-mans.

Now? It's rare I get more than one or maybe two withdrawals at most. Working as intended.

Don't worry;

In response to the new 3-strike system, whenever I instantly que into something while working on my books for my Paladin, I just crash my game's client so the server automatically boots me out if it's not something I need for my high level / low level roulette. I then proceed to go watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for 10 minutes, reconnect, and bam! Fresh que.

I never have need to hit withdraw, because as long as I dc for 10 mintues, the game will boot me, and I can just go right back to que'ing without any reprimand whatsoever. Works great for getting your high level roulette que for your book.

The fishers are upset because they can't abuse the system any longer. So what we get is them coming here with these elaborate what-if scenarios of them being victimized unfairly in attempts to get it changed back.

Time to give it up. Based on the responses we are getting from the devs, the system is thankfully here to stay.

It is amazing that you, and people like you, still trying to buy that excuses, completely ignoring the fact you have two free tickets to avoid the penalty.

You, and all like you, have simply no excuses or reasons to blame the system, other than it really working to avoid you, and people like you, have fun with us with your DF trolling.

The system not only works as intended, it also works great, as long as any complains in forum makes up lame excuses for want it put down. And because the ST/duty queues are a requeue feast no more.

The only thing that, yes, have to be addressed, is when you get a penalty because someone else in your incomplete party, withdrew.

Honestly, have you even played this game or used the DF BEFORE the penalty came in? I ask because, well...people did that. And removing the penalty will only bring it back. As I said, if you are too busy to make it back within the allocated 45 seconds to press a button, then you're too busy and it's your loss. As for the party thing, if the leader and everyone in the party isn't too concerned with checking if people are ready, that issue lies with every member of that party.

As said by a member of the community team, although it shouldn't take one of them to tell you this, making it so it will apply a penalty to only those who press withdraw will leave the system open to abuse.
