I don't remember, but couldn't it have been one of those "only killer party gets it" moments and you were in a different party in the alliance? I think that is how VNM titles worked anyway.

I don't think that's true for Limbus. I would also guess that being dead was the problem.

I actually got Sippoy's title and credit for the kill while dead.

That's Abyssea though, and I never paid enough attention after Omega/Ultima kills to notice title changes (or lack thereof). I was too busy double-checking spreadsheets, calling out names to lot gear, and removing people from alliance if they 'forgot' to pass gear drops. Even while not busy doing the officer thing, I can't say I paid much attention to title changes from other events, either.

Yeah he did, in Abyssea you can get title from a mob while dead. Pretty sure you can't elsewhere, but in there you can.

In Abyssea you can. You absolutely can. Maybe not from everything, as I haven't checked, but I know for certain that you can for the Caturae mobs. We've had a number of people join us just to get the clearance who were pretty derp and got themselves killed due to their own stupidity (usually RL friends or old friends returning to the game of someone who actually is in my group), and of course, they manage to do it at the last second. I swear there's something about seeing a mob at <5% HP left that makes some people just go retarded... regardless, once they were raised I (and others) have /checked them, and they had the title. And yes, they died before the kill, and got raised after it was dead.

I will yield that it may only work for Caturae, as I've never checked other mobs (nor really cared to). And I know that Atma and Abyssites certainly don't work that way. But the Caturae mobs absolutely do.

you absolutly can, depending on the situation, I got my Dead Body title from CoP while dead... and my Frozen Dead Body title for that matter.... Yes I did CoP before the level cap was removed.

I think u have to within exp range too and since u do try to run from ultima's citadel buster that may of been the reason u missed it.

You know not all atma fabricant's sell all synthetic atma's

different zones sell different ones... makes no sense to me either but thats the way it is ^^

the ultima atma just happens to be sold by vision of abyssea atma fabricant's (abyssea tahrongi / konschtat / la theine)

Did you try the atma fabricant in abyssea tahrongi / konschtat / la theine... or did you try the newer abysseas?
