Killed Proto-Ultima yet can't buy Atma of the Ultimate?

Hello all,

For some reason I'm not able to buy Atma of the Ultimate. I'm confused given I was in a party that took down Proto-Ultima and I even received the drop item, Ultima's Claw, from that battle. I used the Ultima's claw to obtain the Nashira Gages wich I am use a lot. Is there something else I need to do? A cut scene or something?

I don't recall.....I hope being dead is what caused me to not gain the title.

You need the title, if you cannot change your title to "Temenos Liberator" then you cannot get the atma from an atma fabricant. Also, make sure you're checking the correct atma fabricant npc, they are vision/scars/heroes specific (they have different sets).

If you didn't get the title, you may have been dead at the time of Ultima dying.

Which zone did you try to buy it in. I want to say its visions that you got go to get.

Hopefully I've just been going to the wrong NPC. It would be really cheesy if I didn't get the title because I being the whm was down in the end. Thanks for the idea! I will double check

Abyssea - Konschtat, Abyssea - La Theine, Abyssea - Tahrongi are the locations for Visions. I was able to buy Atma of Alpha and Omega from a NPC but not Atma of the Ultimate. Its looking like my being dead at the TOD is why I didn't get the title. :/

Sorry think you might be SOL. Didn't think that title needed you to be alive to get, but it makes a bit of since seeing how you can't get atmas from NMs but titles. Better luck next run and grats on the hands.

Check one of these NPCs and see if you can change your title to "temenos liberator"

Edit: You may have to check multiple npcs in this list to find it, I'd start with the one in Tavnazia Safehold.

I don't remember, but couldn't it have been one of those "only killer party gets it" moments and you were in a different party in the alliance? I think that is how VNM titles worked anyway.
