Always funny when someone has nothing to come back with they say that.

But you know what, I'll comment on your OP.

New Content - Are some of the player base annoyed at the current content, yes they are. Should the dev team be putting more resources into FFXI, yes they should be. But I can also understand why SE has a limited team for FFXI, they have a newer multi million dollar project that completely fell apart from the start. People need to understand this game is 10 years old. Not only that but it took (I'll take a guess) 2+ years to develop the game from the start. That is alot of time and work that was put into this game.

Along with that, they have console titles plus another 1 or 2 MMO in the works. There are only so many resources you can put into a 10+ year old project. Nobody seams to realize how much technology changed in that time. They need to move onto better things.

Voidwatch - I'm loving VW atm. Granted there are tons of synthesis materials and getting the same thing over and over can get very annoying as people have posted about. I'm not sure if I'm just lucky but I have not have that many repeat drops and we usually spam an NM over and over. Lots of synthesis materials which after you NPC / AH them its a few 100K gil which is find by me. At least that is something rather then absolutely nothing. Plus you can just pop these NMs over and over, so eventually you will get what you are after. Nothing wrong with some work / reward.

Job Nerfs - Well this can be very frustrating to players. And I can understand why they would be upset. Its hard playing a job you love and go from one playing it one way to having to change your play style getting so annoyed you feel you much play a new job because the one you love has been either phased out or your new weapon that you worked hard to get becomes gimped in damage after using the damn thing for a year. Players should also keep in mind that there will be updates to other events down the road and new gear will come and most likely help replace that lost damage. Such as when they update Salvage.

Since I made a semi wall of text (which you didn't want) that I'm sure your not going to read through at this point, these seem to be the main issues people have on these boards and seem to be why people are quitting. Only time will tell how the game progresses, and tbh I hate to see people leave no matter who it is even if its you Originalkord. The game is nothing without its players.

I'm fine with a wall of text when its relevant to the topic instead of being used to derail a thread. What I didn't want was a wall of text on my own first post. I made my own contribution on how I felt and moved on. I only stepped in with some additional comments when people decided the best way to contribute was attempt a personal attack at me (ie - like you did) for some reason.
