Lack of exp parties

I'm kinda curious where people paying to get into passive XP parties got their gil in the first place. If they can't be bothered to XP on their own, I can't see how they'd be bothered to acquire gil on their own, unless it involves a credit card and certain outside third parties.

1. Obtain 300k by any means you know (fishing, cruor conversion, AH, etc.)
2. Pay 300k to get into a FC pt (make sure it's good with constant pulls, well-geared players, etc. before paying)
3. AFK
4. Use cruor obtained from FC to convert to gil (Good FCs can get the ~120k cruor necessary to recoup the 300k).
5. Repeat steps 2-4
