The 2 hours you spent sitting around seeking party could've got you a couple levels there. I recently leveled RDM from 45 to 95 in a week, mostly through Grounds of Valor alliances. Go to where an alliance is already burning pages, put your flag up, and shout politely for an invite. You'll be invited in minutes.

The most popular spots are Gusgen Mines, Crawler's Nest, and Bostaunieux Oubliette, in order by level. With Grounds of Valor you can go from under 20 to 95 in weeks without ever having to leech or sit around seeking a party.

I'm sorry, but with Dom Ops in Abyssea - Altepa I went from 45 to 95 in 14 hours, and no-one minded that I afk'd for two and a half hours of that to do a (small) bit of RL (but hence wasn't getting 5k/2min from Dom Ops pages). How is recommending Dom Ops terrible advice?

I levelled BLM from 91 to 95 without a single Abyssea group. I'm not so sure how I did it.

Right now I'm trying to level WAR, and the XP rate from Campaign battles is pretty good. You can do it while seeking passively.

You can get into any party simply by /sea'ing the zone you want, looking for non-capped or anon party leaders, then sending them a tell "Experience points Party Can I have it? (Your roll here) You can have this."

Helps if you don't suck at your roll and have something to show for it, i.e. emp ws's etc. However I've gotten into exp parties as PLD just saying "Healing Magic Do you need it?" Use atmas that a WHM would use, and even PLD can mainheal a good alliance in exp.

I'm kinda curious where people paying to get into passive XP parties got their gil in the first place. If they can't be bothered to XP on their own, I can't see how they'd be bothered to acquire gil on their own, unless it involves a credit card and certain outside third parties.

That's quite a jump to conclusions you have there. Someone who's got several millions from legitimate sources and nothing to use it on can't possibly be interested in leeching a few of their jobs? I know people who has gotten everything they would ever want to get out of abyssea, and are sitting on close to 10 million cruor. They don't have anything to use it on except selling brews, or choco-blinker it all.

The net cost of an hour of leeching is probably closer to 50k rather than 100k anyway, assuming the party manages to rack up a decent amount of cruor along with the exp.

I don't find it hard, but it's still a thing I actually have to interact with the computer to do.
