Is that what that was? I've been seeing some /yell constructed of indecipherable autotranslator gibberish, but I couldn't figure out what was going on.
Still I don't know what you're talking about. I've never had trouble getting an Abyssea party. My wait times are generally pretty low, and I frequently see /yells for them. Sometimes there are just bad days.
Also what does "FC" stand for? I can't figure it out.
Fell Cleave.
Could be the job too, flag up on drk & get nothing till one of my friends gets me in a Doll Dom Op, flag up on drg & get an invite asap to Buffalo's in Uleguerand Range .-.
Yeah yeah I know loldrk loldrk bla bla bla
If you're just seeking passively, i'm sure your current job might make a big difference in terms of invites, but this is why you shouldn't seek passively. Even if your job isn't the best in the game, if you're actually right next to the party whenever they're not 18/18, people are much more likely to just get whoever can come first, rather than waiting for an unknown period of time until they can get their hands on very best ultra super turbo DPS class.
Run out to exp locations, flag up, make a shout every few minutes, /tell one of the party leaders, look for anyone in the party who you might have partied with recently for other purposes and ask if they can get you in.
GoV is also available to you. Leeches in Bostinuex Oubliette can be productive even at 90-95 since they are still EP.
I had no problem getting 6 90 jobs to 95 fairly quickly between dom ops, GoV, campaign. Hell WHM got levelled up just doing empy NM runs.
Yo Ho Yo Ho, a pirate's life for me!
You sat there 2 hours and it never occurred to you to make a party?
You can get into any party simply by /sea'ing the zone you want, looking for non-capped or anon party leaders, then sending them a tell "Experience points Party Can I have it? (Your role here) You can have this."
Helps if you don't suck at your role and have something to show for it, i.e. emp ws's etc. However I've gotten into exp parties as PLD just saying "Healing Magic Do you need it?" Use atmas that a WHM would use, and even PLD can mainheal a good alliance in exp.

Generally what I've noticed that unless they're trying to fill in spots, people starting exp parties typically do not use the search function to gather members en mass.
But there's several suggestions to help. Go to any of the popular camps, usually worms camp at La Theine and open your party flag if there's a party there. There's also new gov in areas that you can solo on with your NPC if you choose and gain some decent exp with will rely solely on your own effort. There's also besiege, in which they've pretty much quadrupled EXP gain, though if your on for it. Campaign battles are very good for exp, you can double your exp by getting an evaluation and new tags fairly easy, as suggested. And if you're in an ls that does abyssea events (and let you go RDM) or vw, exp gain is fairly fast there too.
There are serveral people who've decided to level though means other an abyssea shout group from 91 to 95, so it's possible.
