I was able to upgrade both mine and my husband's ticket, I just had to do them separately since they're individual tickets, so I had two tabs open, one for mine and one for his.

I spammed the site 10 min prior to the noted time and still didnt get any chance to get my tickets. Ive read on forums that people were able to get their tickets up to 5 minutes before the allowed time. Not cool.

That's my point. That there was actually a chance that you both didn't get upgraded even if the tickets were purchased under the same account seems like a bad decision. Now there are people out there like me who purchased 3 tickets and only have 1 upgraded.

I apologize that you had issues with the site or the promo code. From our viewing position, all VIP transfers available went into 'pending' status within 30 seconds after 10:30 a.m. PDT. Some tickets did get released back into the system after 15 minutes had passed, and almost immediately reentered 'pending' status.

I certainly understand how anyone who was unable to get a ticket could be frustrated. We'll of course do our best to ensure that all guests, regardless of being VIP, have an enjoyable time at Fan Festival 2014.

Okay, but I'd rather not have my group separated by standard and VIP status. Can I relinquish my VIP status to give to someone else or possibly upgrade the other two tickets? It seems like a bad design here.

Unacceptable. How does one cancel a VIP upgrade if thier party has been spilt by this messed up process?

Man...I got lucky this time. Immediately when 10:30am struck (Ramuh pun intended) I clicked ENTER PROMO CODE and got right in. The first time anything like this has gone smoothly for me.
