If i remember correctly, the only skills that are required to progress job quests are only Water Cannon, Mind Blast, 1000 Needles, and Glower, that's nowhere near enough. I remember that you have to learn a specific amount of skills to unlock something(the totems, was it?) but i don't think it's tied in to the job quest, so a reworking is still needed if we're going with what you said. Even when the "learn specific amount" of skills part is tied in to the job quests then comes "what spells are useful, and what spells are useless in a duty?" because of how many gimmicky spells they currently have, and the easy to get ones are the gimmicky useless ones, so they really have to set what skills are required for them to queue in a duty. BUT even then, people will end up doing all these is a chore JUST to get into duty finder, they might as well not do it at all and just play actual jobs that are more useful and playable in literally every other DoW/DoM content.
