But the cycle itself is not an issue. 9 days might be a long cycle. But it barely matters as the number of available houses doesnt change over time anyway. Either it could for example be 1 per day, or 9 every cycle. And with 9 per cycle, the odds are generaly visualy better (instead of 270 people on 1 house every day, its more likely 30 on 9), even though effectively its the same: 9/270 get a house. It removes the daily online requirement which is a positive thing.
And that its 270 people bidding is again another issue (lack of supply). And again, its not the lottery, or the cycle of the lottery being the issue here.
