Hard scaling any content would be nice, and following the groups item level as well, could be nice for savage too so the 4th in each tier is not more or less a pushover as boss just scales up to max the item level of the group.

I don't know why they didn't fix the Thordan fight when they revamped Heavensward. I think it's really cool afterall the whole fight and he does his ultimate attack, he's left completely helpless and just flails about, ignoring aggro and just swinging wildly at random players. Such a shame that pretty much no one gets to see that happen anymore.
There is a difference between the content being hard, and the content requiring brain power.
Previous final fantasy's while generally not hard other than like, ff5 and ff4- DS, you couldn't just smash your head on the controller through all of them.
Surely we can have a middle ground between fights that die in 2 seconds while doing negative damage, and savage raids?
Also, min ilvl is not a solution. a new player will never even know thats a thing, and it has no impact on the daily roulettes
The problem also goes further then not seeing fights, they wont learn mechanic either and end up endgame with 0 clue of how stuff works....
No thank you, if i wanna do my Dailys i wanna do them fast and not stick 15 min in each outdated fight with a class which looses half of the skills, if they would implent a sync system like wow has where you dont loose your skills i would be fine with it, but low content just dont make fun with certain classes so every min wasted in that kind of content is boring as hell
Then you shouldn't do those particular dailies. There exist dailies for people that don't want much effort - beast tribes and daily hunt bills. Personally, I avoid the alliance and main scenario roulettes because I don't want to spend that long in duties.
If people clearing for the first time want to spend less time doing a dungeon they could simply unsync it. A mechanism exists for them to clear it faster if they want to. The roulette system which deliberately syncs people so they can experience the content properly, should actually sync properly.
I think they could find a way to just bring back older stuff but then use the upgrade system to upgrade it. For example, PLD used to have Shield Swipe. They could just bring that back at lower levels, then upgrade it to something else.Quote:

The problem really with making all max level actions available when syncing, is that it can be a good thing in that it better recreates the experience that level content originally had. For example, PLD having no magic attacks up to level 60 and only having Rage of Halone as a combo in ARR was the original experience, and being able to use level 100 attacks at those levels has the effect of permanently transforming the experience at all levels in a way that you cannot reverse.
At the very least they'd need to have a way to still sync the skills in the DF settings.
i don't disagree with you entirely, it would be so very nice if the videogame actually felt like it was a game and not just some giant interactive movie track reel but sadly until people learn to stop feeling entitled to have things fall into their lap or to work on "their time" we will never see any changes to this
but also you have to look back in time an realize there really is no middle if they make somethings too difficult? gets flooded with hate if they make it too easy? gets flooded with hate there is no solution and thats why in my initial post i put down that we have content catered too specific groups cause there is NO single solitary way you will ever convince the mob whats good for them they will be angry just for the sake of it an just to see it all burn down.
if you like more difficult an challenging gameplay? great they have PvP, Savage/ultimate/unreal raid fights, harder modes of deep dungeons and criterion dungeons to enjoy. ask them for more stuff like it.
if you just want to leisurely enjoy the game an be casual with friends? well guess what you can create it with roleplay, own a house or apartment room, build an island, do questing, do hunting, crafting, gathering, play the dress up game with glamour, snap photos in gpose, play minigames at the golden saucer, an play the ever expanding story for lore.
For example: Today's leveling roulette: Bowl of Embers. Fight ends in 1 minute. Regardless of ARR story quality that is a depressing first trial. I remember wiping in heavensward to the nail dps check because we had an arcanist who only wanted to heal. Unfathomable now right? It doesn't have to be hard but it sure as thal's balls isn't fun.
