Is currently, not "was" its a big difference, the experience is completely different from the past, feels like ARR. Im not saying about the story but everything besides it.

As I've said earlier, I just wish I could play old content without the ability handicapping.
It seems to me it could be done if you just lower the overall stats with sync depending on which/how many abilities you have unlocked. Sure, it won't be perfectly balanced perhaps due to utility and stuff some abilities provide, but it's not like it really matters since older content tends to already be faceroll anyway, might as well at aleast have a more engaging experience rotation wise.
What will end up happening though is that you'd have to put in a lot more effort as higher level doing lower level dungeons for the same result as lower levels who have simpler rotation. I'm sure some won't appreciate that so in that case they could make it optional wether or not you want to keep all your abilities.
Though, you won't be having the same result as lower levels. Due to the broken "Item Level Sync" that makes higher level players significantly more powerful than people of the appropriate level.
Which is why older content is such faceroll, since you get a couple of Sync'd players and they run around destroying everything even with only 2 skills available...
I wish they would do a reverse level sync and have a special expert roulette that gives you access to all of the dungeons. Would allow people to experience dungeons that they have forgotten over the years and give us tons of content.
Since most people probably have never seen the mob spam like that before I did find an old Video with some of the Dungeon Crawl for Castle Never that is no longer available except on a private server.
