A player provided feedback about something they disliked about the game. That's the intended purpose of the general forums. If they want to announce their departure from the game in the same thread that's completely fine too and doesn't violate forum policies.

I think the reason people call Wuk ''woke'' is cause she written like a lot of ''woke'' char. If I wanted to be generous I'd say her all encompassing obsession with peace and mortal craving of attention are her primary flaws, like really, would it actually kill her to not have someone or everyone's attention for five minutes? Then there's the whole "I must fight alone!" at points where it's obviously stupid for her to because the other guy is way over her power level except wait - plot power! Uhhh... Right. Not liking Wuk Lumat understandable, but wokeness? In other SE games sure, but in FFXIV not yet anyway.

I doubt the same trends in western games will pop up in XIV. It's a JP game that isn't interested in Western social issues, if that stuff does pop up it's like a 99% chance of being a localisation thing.
They have their own societal issues that are completely removed from western ones, we are more likely to see those pop up in the game then our societal issues.

I loved FF9, even though I thought Kuja was a girl, til I found out he isn't. That was very awkward. However, ff9 didn't make you guess at 89% of their characters genders. Just one. When I see characters in game, I'm very often unsure of their gender until i get closer. Most bunboys look like women, which is fine, but too much of anything is well... too much. Localization is a significant issue, and Kathryn Cwynar is a major contributor to the decline of the game. This is how I imagine it went after she was promoted in the lead up to the SB release.

you're literally telling players they have no right to use the forums to provide feedback to the developers, which is the only source these devs use for feedback. They don't follow reddit. SE is responsible for injecting politics by basing an entire expansion around a character voiced by someone with severe mental illness, according to the DSM. SE even modified the Wuk Lamat character model to not use a female Hrothgar/Xbr'aal model, just like it did for Zero in the previous expansion. Wuk even uses a male weapon pose.
