Same, it was awesome that the final stage of that was released in time for Pride, it caused me to spin my chair in a happy Trans dance, and seeing a sapphic relationship bloom.

IMO I've head canon one of the twins as Trans. (Not sure which but the dialogue keeps bringing up casual Trans humor with them. As if the writing team just loves to tease a trans connection.)

Cid and Nero is a case for a Theban relationship, with a disaster guy falling for a oblivious guy.

But the most not subtle guy is G'raha Tia, he is clearly Pan and ... well very much flirty and in love with the WOL. Which is why he has to be pan, and maybe a bit demi as well.

So I don't think Square needs to make a new character, they just need to confirm what they have already hinted very strongly.

On a national level yes, but every prefecture has an age higher than that. I believe most are 15 or 16, and 1 may be as high as 18 iirc.

A lot of people in this thread seem to forget that for many non-MSQ quests SE purposely leaves a lot up to interpretation of the player. That, in my opinion, is an amazing way to handle it. All off the necessary information to bring the story to completion is given and small, personal details are left up to the player to interpret.

This isnt the case for too many though. For a lot of side npc's they specifically say whether theyre gay or bi or what have you, again the wanderer's palace npc's come to mind. There arent many signs pointing to the girls as being in anything other than a close friendship, bonded by the similar events both had to endure. If they were romantically involved, i feel SE wouldnt beat around the bush as they really havent done so that much in the past.

It's a pendulum that swings both ways, we've hit a point where people no longer can see friendships in most forms of media and only seem to want to see something more than it most likely is. Look at Animal Crossing, 2 NPCs admit they work together and even refer to each other as partners and yet all people seem to see is "OMG THEY'RE SUPER GAY!!1!". As long as you keep that to yourself and dont talk about it as the truth and that everyone must believe it too, i won't have any problem with it.
