15 weeks needed to get full i100 soldiery complect - gear + weapon. And there is no way to speedup it if you want have a possibility of i110 upgrade.

Umm, chap, you are aware that in 2.4 most likely, soldiery cap is going to be removed and a new tomestone with cap will be released to replace it, and Mythology phased out. Just like how Philosophy was phased out, Mytho lost it's cap, and soldiery was introduced earlier this year?
....? Before this patch, if you wanted to get more than the pittance of 5-10 seals per day by doing the dailies, you had to wait or camp for Bs, As ans Ss. To even get close to 30 seals will require 6 B ranks, which didn't spawn that often. That's not what I call 'casual' for the time you've spent.
Now, dailies have been boosted. Doing them will net you at least 30 seals. You can do them within the hour or more, depending if you want to wait out for the FATE mobs. Maybe the overall reward doesn't seem as great, but the time you have to invest to get a measurable amount of seals is vastly improved.
do you killed 15 A ranks and 10 S ranks within these 5 hours to reach 800 seals?
Of all proposed changes by players, probably the best compromise. Definitely a step in the right direction. I do think hunts still need some monitoring but this is a great, baby step to make things better. I'd rather see smaller adjustments like this than grand sweeping changes.
There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about the change to B spawn time with some thinking you could just spam kill it over and over. You forget that they spawn at random anywhere on the map. Good luck actually finding the mark as it could be killed very quickly wherever it spawns, popping into another random map location therafter.
The change to the daily marks may be good for some. Personally, I can think of nothing more dreadful than waiting for 2 rare FATES to pop each day in order to get my dailies. If they reduced the spawn rate on those fates to 15 mins or so, it might be tolerable.
It's ironic that so many are applauding this change as something that benefits casual players. I can think of nothing that was more casual friendly than the hunt system as it existed before. You could join and leave hunt LS's whenever you wished. That is much more enjoyable than sitting in a zone for 2 hours waiting for a FATE to pop.
First result of hunt changes - all A marks are dead all groups a free for some hours. Next step - stupid runs on the next respawns one by one - respawn times are different. Thanks SE, you made hunts terrible and stupid.

Addon - just now slayed weekly mark B. Other player shouted - kill ti at <loc> if u need. Now i may be free for a week.
It seems most are happy with the changes. That's good.
Just a thought: Even with the increase to daily hunts, I can farm 274 seals (what it takes by doing pure dailies and 1 weekly) in 2 hours compared to what some will take a week to do. What's that saying again? Feed a man s*** for long enough and when you feed him beans and potatoes, he'll think its truffle. (ok i made that last one up).
As i see, normal hunts are dead. All respawned A marks on my server were killed in 30 min. ~2min/mark. Now it is for stupid runners only. Now 8 players hunt group is unable to hunt because ALL hunters will be concentrated in current respawn region and mark will die in 2 mins after it will be found. Anyone who will try teleport from another place will have no chances to reach place in time.
They really should've paired this B change with a change to A ranks' HP. With B's out of the picture for the large hunt groups, the zergfest for As (and people that don't wait) will make hunting A's much more unpleasant with their wimpy HP levels.
Unsubbed three months ago, came back last week, and liked everything. Patch came out, i unsubbed again. Oh well.. guess I'll be happy switching between Destiny & Dragon Age inquisition for a long time.
I'm curious. Were A-Ranks ever not the top priority of hunt zergs? On Excal, they were already being fought at maximum player capacity, because those were the main windows being tracked in the first place.
Basically, all SE did was make B ranks unattractive for hunt groups and isolate them for soloists.
So people who just want to solo their mark bills got a buff. Before they could barely get any seals, now they can get roughly 250 per week.
For everyone else, though, this is a nerf. Seems to be a palatable nerf for many people, but it's still a nerf... no way around that.
This really doesn't do anything to fix what I perceive to be the biggest problem with the hunt system, which is that A and S ranks are overburdened, resulting in anxiety, tension, frustration and nastiness when a handful of players start pulling early.
I was a little upset this morning at first. Hadn't read the notes yet, and found Stinging Sophie right away. I shouted and no one came (unlike me, everyone else had apparently read the notes) so I soloed it, and found it shockingly easy. And got no reward.
So I logged on to read the patch notes. At first I was upset because I got a lot of notes from Bs. But after doing the math, it seemed a fair trade.
well this band aid didn't solve the trouble that some dailies are simply impossible to do with less of 3 hours of play a day. i means the 2 from FATE that can take more of 1-2 hours for spawn...
someone can explain me, why they haven't used the leves system for this? and more important, why don't place a cap and give us a daily craps! i means we still need more of 1700 mark for a weapon i70 at 32 mark a day if you don't take part in the big farce of the rank A and S zergfest.

FATE must be done because they are on our way, not because we are forced to do it. forcing people into something that can have more of 3hours of respawn it's.... idiot.
well you want to know why? because people are screaming for open-Zerg-content. and the fact that leves system is like an instance don't please them, they totally ignore the balance or the fun... they simply want to say we have a world that are... too small for all the person around anyway.
then instead to work on a decent system avoiding all the trouble of... well, the trouble link to the mankind's nature. maybe even giving us a new sort of activity that can our main activity outside raid, with challenge and all... we did get NM.... the freaking useless NM! the most easy instant gratification feature of any mmorpg. worst, the most unfair and useless if you want to make it a main activity.
I totally forgot, but I didn't see anywhere in the patch notes about them addressing the disappearing S mobs with large amounts of players... I'm assuming this will get even worse now.
True, they're useless IMO. A complete waste of time. I did some of them before and as someone that has limited time to play they're not worth it at all. Way too much time spent for too little reward and is not even fun time. Just staying there like a scarecrow doing nothing. I barely have a few hours a day, not going to spend it by not playing while being logged on.
Yes, it is. But now hunt groups has nothing to do between respawns of A-marks - it's some hours. The result - all groups will be (re)assembled just before respawn in concrete region. In my world (low populated) in the morning (low populated time) there are ~100-120 hunters. In the evening - i think that 500 or more. When this horde jumps into one region and starts to patrol locations and then stupidly runs to one place... I think it's BAD GAME. The main problem is that the respawn intervals are long enough - some hours. This doesn't allow to keep hunt groups - there is nothing to do after mob death for a long time. So, players will need to leave hunt group if they want to use DF or participate another party or...
Well only because far too many ilv 110 geared people have got geared up from hunts and still do not know how to play their class, it is sad in that regard.
They just should never have made sand uptainable from hunts.
The changes do sound good however would this still address the issue of some people that always seem to reset on purpose?
Hunts that you can get 10 seals while not in a group and if it gets reset only end up with 1, i hope this change affects it.
if you want my piece of mind, the error is not make sand available throught hunt, but the sand itself... all this trouble is born from the will of SE to please Raider and give gears that can only be obtain throught Raid. it's idiot, because this stuff have no use exept for 2 turn of BC2. all of the game outside this don't need the i110.
let's pray that they will not make the same mistake with the 2.4... we have enough token or scraps to gather with the relic, don't need to add more and more.
i still keep the hope to see the leves system used in the hunt and the add of tough challenge throught the faction leves system, that can ask 4-8-16-24 player. and more important that will give use to raid gears outside raid! because that the main flaws of the game actually. but, i'm realist i doubt they want to spend time into something other than raid...
Before this nerf, groups could weave in some B's while waiting for A's to spawn. I guess we can work on our daily/weekly bills while waiting for the A's.
I am just glad I spammed the crap out of hunts this last week in anticipation of the nerf.
Not overgeared for duty players has no chances to win need/greed competition in duties. This fact makes duty's drops practically unusable for equip purposes. The small chance is in syrcus tower only due to weekly limit.
I am disappointed that this game imposes doing not interesting things for a long time. Doing atma fates when overgeared is not interesting. Doing fates with overgeared players during leveling is not interesting. Visinting many times the same danges/trials for stones is not interesting.
Hunting before patch was interesting for me because it was unbroken live process with visible profit. When i decided that i don't know wha to do i could open PF and join hunt party for 1h hunt running. Now it's totally broken.
this was a bad idea, this nerf. please change it back or make A's spawn sooner :(
Our LS had rules that allowed everyone to get full credit. Tanks would do 2-3 non combo abilities, then spam Flash for low damage and max threat. WHM would land one Aero, then spam DSd Med/Med2 or Cure III for low damage and max threat. Scholars use Miasma II then spam a fairy buffed Succor. DPS only classes were not allowed to use any CDs or high potency attacks, but as long as they got a few hits in the threat generated by tanks/healers would get them full credit. As long as you asked for an invite to the linkshell, you were taken care of and made a lot of friends in the process. You know, being a part of a community.
We naturally weren't entitled to every single kill and respected when someone came upon a B Rank on their own and pulled it to kill. We had no problem with that. Just gets old seeing people refer to LS groups as mindless zerg rushes.
Well the only problem is that now B rank is only killed once per week by EVERYONE. They should at least give us 3 weekly B rank for 150 seals bonus per week - which is not that much at all. And the daily reward is pitiful at 32 seals a day, should be at least 50 seals a day total. They really need to bridge the gap between casuals and hardcore and not separate these two groups even further..... Plus, if you are hardcore - you DO NOT want people to think that the most effective ways is to farm A and S, crowding the competition. You WANT casuals and semi hardcore to get 500 seals per week doing their dailies and weeklies. Less people thinking A and S is the only way to get seals, BETTER for the people who DO farm them.
This is good. I think it would have been better if they'd added B's to dailies and made A's into the weeklies, maybe added a global monthly S, but this is far from nothing.
It did some good, but created new issues. With the B's now being useless, the A's are being treated like S ranks. Rendering issues, no one getting full credit, etc. Like said before me, same amount of hunters, less things to hunt.
