No I wasn't, I tried to call them and they told me to submit a ticket in-game. When I did, the in-game support told me to call them. Then I did another ticket stating the phone support told me to contact them and they sent me another reply telling me to phone them. I pretty much gave up at this point and cancelled my sub. GL if you ever need assistance...

Some players probly did but Ì doubt that anyone that bought gils online would get 8+ millions and just sit on it.

Plus I doubt someone claiming his innocence for more than 2 weeks now and trying everything he can to get his account re-investigated is a cheater.

What probly happened is some players bought gils, then got items on the market and then the seller was flagged. It's been posted a lot of reddit and even someone here last week stated he bought gils online and was still being able to log on (his post got deleted) thus proving they did absolutly no investigation. All we got were automated messages, no screenshots or logs of "what they found" (people shouting too much get their chat log as screenshot in the suspension e-mail).

And you can't forget all of the gil you get from leaves. If these guys saved all of their 180ish leaves for 45-50, that's a pretty good chunk of change. The high level leaves give up to 500 gil a pop. You can sometimes also get triple from multi turn in leaves. So that's 90k gil without any triples, they could have conceivably even doubled that if they got lucky on leave selection and cherry picked.

Of course if you had more than twice as much gil from leaves than was possible, like this person:

people might think you used the exploit they just patched that allows you to massively duplicate leave turnins and cheat yourself a pile of gil and a pile of level 50s.

Sorry to break it too you, but Bots and RMTs are not 100% gone from the game. Besides, Why should the OP have to suffer, be it if there is truth in his case, and lose all his hard earned ingame money. There is no logic behind SE action on this. They are STILL investigating innocent people that were banned for being hacked.. I know this because I have a really close RL friend that is going through this right now. It has been upwards of 2 weeks + since he got hacked/suspended. I guess the point I am getting to is, Because of RMTs/Hackers/Botters and SE's method of dealing with this. There are a lot of people really upset, and feel let down. And even more people that have and will continue to stop playing this game.

I can honestly say I probably bought a considerable amount of your ores off the market. Could turn them into nuggets and insta-sell for 30k+.
I can also say there were others I personally know that did this.... and that no way in hell was my gil tainted as it was also from the same market boards, quests, etc.

I was never banned nor my gil taken away, simply because I was under some X amount of gil when they did the wipe.

The amount of ignorant/blind fanboy people in all of these threads supporting SE blows my mind.

If SE intended to wipe RMT gil out of servers by ripping it out of legitimate players' hands, then they should've gone through the steps to determine exactly which transactions were RMT-tainted and ONLY take that gil... not that ridiculous divide-your-money-by-100 thing they ended up doing. The marketplace holds records of the RMT transactions and the gil amounts therein. That's the part that really comes off as unfair to the player. I've seen comparisons to real-life counterfeit situations... yes in real-life you would not keep counterfeit money you mistakenly received, but the police wouldn't divide your bank account by 100 to decide what of your own money you get to keep afterwards...

Unless you have some brand new inside information, there is absolutely no reason to believe those who were suspended were chosen based on the amount of gil they had. It's already been shown that many more people with multi millions did not get banned than those that did.

If you're just guessing as to how they chose, than I apologize. It would make sense since those chosen were mostly high level crafters with large amounts of gil.

If we're guessing though, I'll guess it's a lot more likely that after SE discovered the leave exploit, while they were working on patching it, they did a little math and said something like since the max gil you can possibly obtain from the 180 leaves you have gotten in 30 days is let's say 200k , and your character gained 400k gil from leaves in that time, you are a cheater.

This doesn't mean everyone that was suspended cheated, but we know some did in this exact way. Including one that has posted over 200 times in THIS forum about how unfair these suspensions are. If you're going to be mad at someone be mad at the cheaters. They make it hard for us to believe those who really were innocent.

I hope you didn't read into my post that I was accusing you. Out of all the posters you're one of the few I lean towards believing. Even if I didn't I would have no right to accuse you without proof. If you want to know who I'm talking about my last couple posts makes it clear. The point I was trying to make is, those people make it harder for us to believe you guys, since they have made every type of post you have and more.

Without proof you have no reason to believe me but on the day after the suspensions, (well it was the day the first thread about it was made here) I personally saw the screen of a family member and a friend with over 8 mil.

I don't know how they chose any more than anyone else, maybe some got flagged for leave hacking some for other reasons, we'll never know.

This is just nitpicking I know, but there are people in every one of the multiple threads on this issue that have posted they had under 8 mil ( actually under 1 mil) and were part of this suspension.

I think the most frustrating part is when phone support tells you to contact them in-game and then the GMs tells you to call them even when you write down in the ticket that the phone support told me to contact them...

Yea man there is no 2 ways about it, this was handled horribly. Either they aren't sure the people cheated, in which case they should never have been punished, or they are sure in which case they let people who cheated back in the game with all their levels and millions in gear and retainer gil. Neither case is remotely close to acceptable.

It's around 4-5k gil for 1 leve.

I was posting a similar reply about triple turn in leves but you beat me to it. I had even more earned around that time from leves, approx 450k. There is plenty of people like myself who did a majority of their leves doing HQ triple turn ins for crafting. The only cherry picking done was picking the best triple leve by xp for every tier, not even by gil. If you do some real calculations with all the facts joosie you will see that the max amount you could have earned was way over that screenshot. Try this calculation - add in your original number, then triple it for only doing triples, then add another 200% gil reward for HQ. Even that is short of max, because you are lowballing the amount of gil. Not to mention, the amount of leves you are going off of is all wrong. People who made their characters during the open beta earned leves from august 17th, and the days the game were offline still counted, meaning some people started open beta even with a lot of leves already.

Thats 51 days of leves by the time of that screenshot you quoted, earning 6 leves per day. Even with how much I had, I was nowhere near close to the amount someone could have earned from leves.

Would you like to explain then how I have more earned than your threshold listed for leves yet was not suspended? If they sweeped all the characters with a simple check on the amount earned, it would be impossible for me to be passed over if your theory is correct. But, again, look above and do some non ignorance based calculations.

Do you think I posted before checking? Do you think others won't check? I actually thought I screwed up big so I went and did the leaves logged my gil in the achievement log before and after. I got full gil but in the achievements only got base amount.

Sorry man I missed your edit again. If I said everyone with gil that high in achievement log got banned it was a mistype, I meant that anyone with gil that high at that time on achievement log is a cheater, some just got away with it.

I don't really know how to reply to this..not only does it come close to 400k, it is well over. I didn't even do every leve available to me, I had probably 50 left over, and had that amount. I can't explain how it added up if it adds the base only because it wasn't something I was actively tracking, but just something I noticed one day and thought it was funny. I can't confirm or deny that right now, but I can tell you I have never cheated with that amount and again, wasn't suspended. Maybe its time to admit you could be wrong though since I have already proven your original numbers were way off that you were very certain of.

But.. the original point was over scarebearz, who falls under the threshold you just admitted to.

You were wrong here already from your original numbers which was around 200k in that post you are talking about. This is my point. You labeled a bunch of people cheaters for a certain threshold of gil, and I proved even with a lowball amount that you were wrong. Also going off of what scarebearz posted below, you are very wrong again. Even my amount wouldn't come close to the max amount, which would make sense seeing as how it wasn't even something I was trying to do. You don't have any credibility at this point.

No idea why it went up by 2616 and not 2691, but it still proves my point.

Edit, having checked my gil as well, it appears a single HQ hand in for that leve pays 2616, hence the log goes up by 2616, despite the NPC stating 2691.

1308 average is what Scarebearz would have needed BASE using all of 51 days of leaves. The one she posted was 800something base but to be fair there are higher ones, but not high enough to average 1308.

Again, your calculations are off. You still aren't assuming triple leves correctly. 500 base gil would be 1500 already for a triple, and that is low. That is if the base were only added, which scarez just proved is wrong. Look at the posts above again, sorry I am slow on the edits.

I don't know how much more I can reinforce how wrong you are over this. Even going by numbers you admit to which are wrong, scare falls under legit amount. Me and scare are both way under the true amount you could earn, I suggest you suck up your pride and find a different avenue of attack. You don't owe me I know, but could you do one more, then check your log quickly afterwards? When I did mine I was 91,666 before, 92,189 after, and just now looking again, 93,235. Guess the bonus adds to log after the base. So I apologize. Hopefully you take the time out to check so you'll know I'm not a total d-bag, I really did check before posting. Didn't expect the gil to be added to log separately.

This would make sense if this was the only leve you did. Ever. Easiest way to settle this, show us your leve completion count.

Now add in the fact that scare could have done over 300 leves by the time of that post if they started in open beta. Obviously, not all are going to be that high, but you can start to see how it is legit.

And in reply to scarebearz below - Yeah, that is the funny part. No crafter does them for the gil, it isn't worth your time. Being labeled a cheater off of the gil earned from leves in the amount in question is laughable. Why would a dedicated crafter cheat 300-400k gil from leves when they could have earned that in 1 day just crafting?

In fact before today I had never done this one, it just happens I had the mats for this one available.

I was not trying to make gil from leve's, only doing ones that gave me the best crafting exp, aka 3x hand in's.

Nor did I say I did only 50 leve's, you get 6 per day, so 50 leve's is only like 9 days or so.

You need to re-open the log page for it to update...

If you leave the log up while you hand in, the total remains unchanged, until you re-load the page.

Wasn't really questioning you, but you have doubters. It takes 17 days to refill your leves to 100 from 0. 9 days to get 54 leves from 0. I would guess you have used around 200 leves which is possible at this point in time considering launch till now and all the triple turn ins. How close is my guess?

Yea, the whole situation bothers me, and when I thought I saw proof of at least 1 person in the wrong, I jumped too fast. It looked at first glance that people had been screwed and there was some dirtbag making them all look like liars.
