Party Finder RMT selling clears and items

If SE is not willing to ban or warn those discord sellers about their wording in party finder, then at least increase the size of the blacklist to 300 or 500. The amount of party finders with along the lines of "selling" and "discord" are getting out of hand IMO.

It’s like anything else in the game- a player has put in the time to be able to sell a product that has some kind of demand. Another player doesn’t want to put in the effort to do it themselves, but has the means to pay for the service.

It’s essentially the same as paying a crafter for their products.

Moreover, if some kind of content built for 8 people can be done with 7, perhaps the content isn’t really that difficult -or- the 7 man team has earned some kind of right to “sell” their skills.

All that said, if ultimates can be done by 7 people, I would say that’s more of a mistake to where either SE made it too easy, or the player skill is that good. If in-game currency is to be made there, I do not blame the players.

Mislabeling? Like labeing your group a farm party and then wiping on easy mechanics? I agree that should definitely be reportable.

I personally would not pay for any ultimate or savage clears. I wouldn't even buy mogstation mounts just cuz I think it's stupid to buy digital goods for a video game. But it is just a video game and if someone else wants to do that with their money, I honestly don't care. I get the argument that it lessens the the achievement of players who cleared legitimately, but again, it's just a video game so I don't take it seriously. I mean, if you are worried about video game achievements then you really need to rethink your life. I absolutely agree with SE as a company policing RMT sales of course.

That's way too extreme. I personally see nothing wrong with providing an in game service for gil. Honestly, if you are against RMT you should encourage people to pay with gil instead of money.

No is not, because they sell gear basically. And im a crafter.
I don't see a diference between them and RMT really, is getting iLevels for money one way or another while ruining crafting.

So yeah, check the logs and also retroactively ban anyone who ever sold or purchased a run.

I glanced at PF just now and every single party selling runs directs you to discord. Why do they need to do this if they're all legitimate. Besides, you can check this easily for yourself by adding them on discord and asking for prices. (Hint: the majority won't list gil)

These are Gil farms. I’ll refrain from posting the common countries these are run in, but it’s fairly well known.
Anyway, they simply script a bunch of accounts to automate themselves to 50 and then from the looks of it, farm Amdapor Keep over and over again. It’s one if the earliest level 50 dungeons, can be spammed 100ish times a day per character (there’s a global daily limit), and generates gil from kills.
There’s been a number of complaints about the wait times to get into AK, it’s real bad for legitimate players.

Anyway, if you ever see someone RMT advertising in the starting cities, these gibberish bots is where all the gil comes from. Usually.
There’s other even worse ways to get gil but this at least explains the flock of poshacking bots you see.

The only real way to stop it is to make it unprofitable by not buying gil. I highly doubt they even legitimately pay for the hundreds if XIV jets needed for each character. It’s likely stolen CC info. So there’s no real monetary loss when they get banned, they just redo it all. There’s no effort from a human, it’s all automated. Until people stop buying gil (what are they even buying with it?) they’ll probably never stop farming.
