People queue for the bonus, but is also nice to have some variance from time to time. However, the roulette is there to fill up

I like to collect minions so from time to time I try to que for any 24m that I missing the pet. Well, even if I que right after the roulette reset for Orbonne I have been waiting for more than an hour before giving up. If I que right away for regular alliance roulette I going inside in an instant.

That's a fair point. On one hand it's a good system in theory. Help newer people to run older content. It works to a point. On the other hand there are rewards as an incentive, but said rewards are the same no matter what the difficulty of Dungeon/Trial/Raid etc, etc. And that's where we are currently. People want rewards and do not want difficulty associated with obtaining said rewards.

I regularly participate in organized SB alliance raid-athons to help people learn all 3 of them and eventually get their clears in a laid back enviroment without abandons and without rage quits. I do so when I'm in the right mood and have the time for it. I don't get any rewards out of it. So tell me more about how I make the experience for players on my Datacenter worse.

I going to disagree, people want extremely easy content. Even if SE up the rewards I venture to say people will still be lowering their ILvL because the chance of not being available to clear certain raids is there (and is not the content is super hard or anything). Already happen with normal trials like Titania, it's not that rare having players leaving right away.

Someone used MSQ as an example with people leaving Castrum for Praetorium, they do that because both are equally easy and nothing else.

I've been playing long enough to remember when we didn't have dailies. When new players would come to the game and where pretty much screwed unless they were in an FC so that they could have people run them through the story dungeons. The whole daily roulette system was put in place to help address that problem before it became too much of an issue. The fact that people "cheese" the system nowadays the way that they do, in my opinion, defeats the entire purpose of why it was implemented to begin with. So again, I know these are my own personal beliefs, but this is why I stand by my argument as I do.

Yeah or they need to adjust the system so that you simply cant queue for the roulette if you dont meet the ilvl requirement for all duties of your level...

Personally I don't mind getting them often sine I love the Chrystal Tower raids. The only problem I have with them right now is how bad they sync us down. I mean just roll trough them with enough damage, barely worrying what the boss does or handling his mechanics at all makes me kinda sad. There are alot of interesting fights which new players will almost never get to experience properly since bosses all die so fast.

Come on SE you can do better than this.

20 minutes are a pretty common Queue time for basically everything on my DC as DPS, so I don't see the issue, aside from people being spoiled by insta queues.

That's fine you don't see an issue. If you think it is fine for you, then that is your own personal belief. However, there are other players (myself being one) that would enjoy the variety that comes from using a system that carries "roulette" in the name rather than seeing the same two instances repeatedly since the other group wants to cheese the system. You and I have clearly two different perspectives on the matter, and right now, the way I would like the system to be used is severely undermined by those who share your sentiments. I don't think it is particularly fair that one group gets to rig the system in their favor to get what they want while the other group is left being disappointed by the lack of variety.

As someone suggested earlier in the discussion, fixing the rewards would be one way to make it worthwhile to players. There is very much an imbalance in the rewards considering how much easier it is to do the ARR raids rather than the SB ones. I don't see why there shouldn't be a discussion to try and resolve the issue to make it satisfying for both camps.
