I think is some white fabric under the hood... the shape doesn't resemble any style availabe to Viera, plus it wraps around the chin. It may be the same white fabric from the gloves.
Well, a hood is better than nothing, but I saw other headgear that can get the same treatment, and I hope it does. (hoods and full helms) -

"Highponytail" and "Jenomis". High ponytail refers to either Hildas hair or the style Krile has with her hood off. Jenomis means the Jenomis Lexentails hair which is frankly a slightly better controlled karen style.
We didnt get to see if new options are coming for hroth or viera but even tho these hairs are not my taste I still hope they work. I'm sure they will work for at least viera. -

I am just saying if there is new hair coming in 6.2 and it says Viera and Hroth can't wear it, they are pretty much saying a big old heck you to that playerbase because we are talking fresh assets now, fresh models, they just couldn't be assed modeling them for every race and I think that should scream at you their commitment to their game. I am going to be that bun and say if you look at history, it was around this milestone that WoW started to become disconnected from their community and lost their enthusiasm so let's hope FFXIV isn't going down the same path but if I see in the patch notes new hair and that tiny little text that says "Viera and Hroth can't wear it" We are starting to climb onto that slippery slide since like I said, that is fresh hecking assets! No excuses!

This mod accommodates all types of ears, on different helmets (and the author is looking to make all helmets work), even having already made helmets that I thought were impossible, like Amon's hat or top hats. All this without clipping anything, and even making models of ear pockets for helmets that would look weird just having a furry ear on top. The tophat's design sits exactly where the ears are, and making holes, or just letting the ears clip through it would make it really weird, because the hat is already tall, but not too tall to have the ears hidden inside.
