It's just sad that people who do want to pay for the game can't even get support from Square Enix, with people telling them to go to South Africa for support. And the terrible payment system has been a thread for like 9 months on these forums. SE is obviously unprepared to support their MMO, and they shouldn't be charging for something they can't support.

You might want to avoid calling people from other countries "village" as "backwater" just because some shady company with a stupendous track record makes it difficult to support this game and these forums for you to troll on.
Just because it's common knowledge that things aren't perfect and companies are usually after your money and provide bad CS, doesn't mean that it's acceptable to do that. SE should reconsider their partnership with C&B. Simply stating that, "Of course it's hard, it's CS" and insulting someone, makes you come off as pompous and automatically dismissed by most for your piss-poor attitude. To imply the relationship between SE & CnB and their influence over them is equal to the relationship SE would have with Toyota is bunk. SE has the choice to use CnB, they may not be able to correct their uselessness, but they sure as hell can find an alternative, yet they have not and their customers pay the price, or lack their of O_o. Similarly if SE leased Toyotas for its employees and the issue you stated were to occur, they would more than likely find an alternative!!!

What would you do if the bank that you use decided to only accept checks from a small group of people. They would no longer allow you to deposit anything from anyone outside of that small group. Would it not be logical for you to switch your bank? Especially if one of those that is excluded is your employer (assuming you have one).

Well, to update my situation, now my C&B account is blocked cause I did not verify my card, it got blocked 1 day after creating it, verification takes at least 2 days... I contacted them, no answer yet for about 3 days now... I'll try to get in contact with them tomorrow by phone... this is just tiring me out, hope SE just hurry up and add at least one more option... paypal or paybycash or something we could actually use :/
How is SE not supposed to be responsible when a customer that are willing to give them money are now not able to? I'd fire whoever came up with the retarded billing system.
No Zeref, this thread about hitting a wall, as I explained in my main post, about C&B not changing the way to register an account for Saudi Arabia ( which they actually support but have no idea how addresses gone here by) and by SE not helping out by adding an additional payment option to solve the problem, its about not getting any help nether from C&B to let me pay nor getting any help from SE by adding at least 1 more payment option. that's my problem too, when you call them they will send you an application to fill up and you will have to send them a copy of your bank statement and your ID too, i did that from 3 days and they told me my bank statement is not acceptable and it's not complete (i guess because i print it online), so i went to the bank yesterday and i got my statement from the bank and send it again to C&B, still waiting now.
i think most of us who can't pay using C&B have this problem, they got their account blocked without any notice, because when you are trying to reactivate your account in FFXIV it will just give you an error without telling you why, and you will never know why unless you check your account in C&B.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the typical strain of problem in a nutshell.
My advice from here on out is to watch out like a hawk for the "your region is unsupported" line ClickandDie might give you. To which your response should be "why not? The service provider I'm paying lists this as supported in my region."
At all costs, avoid them trying to fob you back to SE.
Or, you know... just dump them and wait for the new method, presuming it actually happens as promised... >_>
My friend has a Brazilian SE account and the only option available to him is C&B. He registered with C&B, verified his CC; and guess what? He can't pay for the game because he got a message stating that the service is not available to his region and that's AFTER he contacted C&B and SE. Link to thread:

Now he is blocked out of the game because SE can't seem to provide basic customer service even though they had more than a year to prepare.
NOTE: It doesn't matter what country you live in; if you buy a game/product you should expect adequate support from the company making money out of it. Unless it's explicitly advertised that it's not meant to be sold in that region.
Why SE thought this was going to be a good idea is beyond me, seriously have some retards working in that company.
you cannot say this is the main problem because C&B did nothing to solve it yet, until they verified my account again we will never know if this is the problem or what, and i blame both SE and C&B for this, why?
1. when i'm trying to reactivate my account in FFXIV simply they just give me an error message "105", no one knows what this freaking error for, at least they can tell us that we have problem with our payment and please check with C&B.
2. C&B simply blocked our account for no reason without even informing us, and we have to call them to solve this problem, and they are very slow to solve this issue like they don't care.
i spent more than 20$ on international calls just for C&B to solve a problem they did without informing me or telling me the reason why and they still didn't solve it till now, why do we have to go through all that to pay for a game? why make things complicated for players?

I'm sorry if i missed it, but why no one mentions Ultimate Pay? I'm using UP and Webmoney to get crysta and to pay for my FFXI account. I never got any problem since that.

It seems like Moxas is the only payment that has gotten through so far.
On another note, I'm not sure C&B has conflicts when using the same payment method, such as one account paying for husband and wife duo. Or if it treats accounts with the same address with difficulty. (theories on the 105 error)
The debit choices also have the added hurdle of verification of two undetermined amounts. I know companies have different procedures, but on Paypal, I never verified my bank account and when I selected Credit, using my debit card with Visa logo, it auto verified everything (for better or worse).
Players who have selected Saudia Arabia as the country in their SE profile receive an error message when attempting to buy Crysta in any amount. The only other presented billing option is ClickandBuy. But if they could clear the Crysta screen, they could use a host of other payment options.
I live in UAE .. I had 2 account go to waste because of this problem, man either u get new account .. when u create it put on details that u not from saudi arabia .. make it US , that will open crysta option that much easier than the dmn CnB .. they shitty company, i fight twice with them because of that issue and took me almost 4 month for that. so either u wait for SE to save Middle east people or ... we fake their system.

To explain what that rude forum thug who replied to you didn't, the thing is, payment methods aren't universal, while UP is an option for you (and me), that's because we're in an SE region where UP is acceptable, not all SE regions are able to accept UP as a method.
Just a tip from people who will/have/must use Click and buy. When you get through the Process of registration and you get the amount they charge to your account. By all means please and read this very well DO NOT USE UR CALCULATOR TO transfer your currency to $ , take 5 minutes and call your bank explain them you need the exact amount, if you get a lazy agent he will use a calculator or it will tell you that today the exchange for $ is this... do not take that answer for granted... you need to demand they check their system and ask them for the exact amount of dollars+cents you got charged. or you will get your account banned and you will have to go through an endless process of call/fax to C&B and there my friend is when the nightmare begins .... I may create a post through helpful tips to solved or prevent this type of problems ..... BTW i have to use Click&Buy so trust me this can be a chain of mistakes you do and sometimes end up blaming the shitty system they have when you can prevent it ....

So when they add new payment method for other than Crysta for me was planning to cancel C&B, already paid the 6 month and don't want to use them after reading all the stuff about them on this forum... heard if you don't cancel they will charge a fee also... hope cancelling with C&B isn't a nightmare... should be safe if I cancel now right? It already shows my payment to C&B was paid.
Pretty sure the reps on this side of forum is looking into it but for this issue about not being able to pay because of clickandbuy and issue about wrong character or empty slot got picked I posted on YoshiP thread so if lucky and he see's that post might be able to push a little bit... that's best I can do from my end.
Well, I got in contact with C&B via phone, and the answer I got was to create a new account as their system won't allow the one I made to be used again (wow talk about old ways) here's the funny part, I created it, and had to go out to get some stuff done and I got back ( took me about 30mins ) I wanted to log on to get my account verified and stuff, guess what? it got blocked AGAIN, now back to step 1, waiting on response of them... all what I ask from SE is that one more method of payment.
And by the way, just for the record, we are able to use Ultimate Pay, PayByCash, PayPal, we have alot of methods to use, not much of difference from NA or EU regions, I've used all of them for different games with no difficulty, only C&B I haven't used cause of what I heard and I refused to use it until I took an SE arrow to the knee (Sorry, had to do it LOL)
So yeah, basically, we could use many methods of payments including direct pay. Its just that SE shows only C&B for us as payment method.
