Vlady this is getting beyond absurd. On multiple occasions you have claimed that you are able to push the boundaries of what is possible with AST and people have yet to learn the class before they can realize how ungodly strong the class actually is.
Obviously this followed by people doing the math for you and proving how what you claim to be true is actually not possible even if pick the perfect cards and when prompted for proof you ignore them and just jump on the next statement.
Every time someone comes close to agreeing with you blindly back them up and complain about how the numbers of AST threads are skewing reality and are just there to proof how unskilled everyone is in terms of AST. When you open one apparently its different.

And what a gem of a thread it is. You claim that AST is in a good position and now that you finally set food into savage (congrats btw) you can bestow us with your wisdom once again. But again its just incohesive ramblings. You say ast needs no buff followed by what should be changed/buffed.
You disregard the japanese discussion by saying "they're only talking about cards" which last time I checked is the main hook of the AST class. (Are you maybe playing WHM and think its AST?)
Additionally you say AST will become more popular once Progression in Alex Savage is done and the whole dungeon is on farm mode. Alone that you can make this statement and call the class fine is just so laughable. Will we see more AST clears in the future obviously if people can get new/better gear every week we will see more AST going into savage and those AST who already did and even cleared A1 A2 who still said "This class needs help" apparently didn't unlock the secret of the cards following your logic.

In the end all I can say Vlady you should really stay away from further AST discussion because your opinion is just biased and you can't follow personal made claims up with facts like many other people actually did.
If you enjoy playing AST like you say you do by all means keep using AST. If your raid group doesn't want you to switch classes even better. Keep enjoying the class.

tbh, you aren't really defending it though, you are just making stuff up with extreme bias. Also as stated above, some of the very statements you make are directly pointing out how weak it is in comparison to the other two.

Also, two of the main others defending the class have been shown as foolish by their own statements. I mean come on, the loudest constantly tells people to l2p and to test as they have, yet they don't know what stacks and what cancels, and their testing consisted of "this one time, I cast a spell, and the other one disappeared.!". While the other made a thread about how OP synastry was.

SCH has more powerful shields, more powerful dps capabilities, more powerful buffs, and some of the most ridiculously powerful healing abilities in the game.

AST is as near to SCH as your analysis is as near to reality.

This just isnt true. WHM has a plenitude of regen abilities to cover upfront healing, as well as Benediction and Tetragrammanton. What a N.AST has in comparison is A.Helios which is half the healing potency of medica, and A.Benefic, which has a low healing compenent. Also Lightspeed doesnt burst heal anything, it simply frontloads the healing to the start of the GCD, and still ties you to waiting for the GCD to cast the next heal. Presence of Mind is a superior cooldown compared to it for burst healing and healing throughput.

Notice how in this he claims its a design decision to make it that AST can not heal as well as WHM or SCH, and in this thread he has changed his mind once again, and now AST can heal as well as the other 2 healers.

Also note how he expects people to pay money to transfer to his server otherwise he wont back up his claims. For some reason, what he says can only be substantiated in game on another server, and no evidence can be submitted by him to the forums to back up his claims.

Also not that someone in another thread from his server actaully agreed to meet in game so he could prove his claims, so we still have to hear back about that one.

Its like you anti-WHM crusade you had all throughout 2.x. You thought it was a terrible healer and that SCH/SCH combo was far better for raiding with. Then it turned out all the raid experience you had was doing up to turn 2 whilst it was relevant. Well WHM is still as powerful now as it was in 2.x. SCH is likewise. It is so funny and at the same time annoying as hell to look at him posting and trying to make up complete random and false stuff just to make him look like he's right, lol. I honestly hope he isn't in a static because i would not want him as my healer if i was tanking. I don't heal stupid when i'm healer and I def don't want to be healed by the stupid when tanking. Overall I get the feeling Vlady is a crappy healer who hasn't played the other healing classes. I'm embarressed for his free company.

I have not ONCE, cleared A4 NM with 2 AST's. It's near impossible and I'll tell you why.

I dread having another AST in the PT. I almost want to leave....as for A4 example...
1. Our Cards Override each other. I almost never use my cards, when I do, I have to look at the other AST's cards and pray he doesn't use his AoE ones.

2. If one of us is in Nocturnal stance, the Dirunal stance needs to pick up the chore for us both since Noct is useless.
2b. When I'm Noct. I rarely use Asp. Helios because it's a waste of MP for a lame shield. Only in big AOE's and have a good amount of MP do I try to use it more.
I barely use any healing skills but Benefic's. This is beyond sad. Fix the friggin' stance SE.
3. After killing the middle thing, if you use CU, it's useless.
4. When final phase roles. We're screwed. It's hard to keep myself up, the AST up, everyone else topped because we don't have anything to really shield or protect people or any big utility.
I try to use SS and get bole but that's eating my MP and hoping to RNGesus for a card and trying to aim it at someone for everyone to get a buff when still dodgin and rolling aoe's lines, nisi and other crap.
It's a healers nightmare. Noct stance is so useless that I wonder if it's better to roll 2 Dirunals and switch between Aspec's to help save HP and get the single aspec to other players and save our MP.
The final phase is really hard on 2 AST's. I can't do it...I feel useless and when I'm in Noct, I dunno what to do.
Dual AST is the worst combo in this game.

In general: People EXCLUDE us from raids in PF because we aren't toe to toe with SCH/WHM.
They are superior, we have to bust our asses to try to keep up the pace. It's REALLY hard to be a DECENT AST.
DRKS/MCH's are still accepted, we're not even wanted. AST's are pretty much bottom barrel if people don't want us.
I feel like I wasted my time on a job I've come to love. So no. We aren't fine. We're in a tough spot. I'm sorry but stop it.
I know you want AST to be really good and all, but it's not. We all love the job too but saying it's fine is killing any chances for a buff.

I think the fact that the devs speak Japanese and not English is the main reason.

This isn't really about a disagreement. This is more like trying to have a discussion on an astronomy forum and some guy keeps posting that the moon is a government conspiracy. Then instead of having real discussions people end up explaining that the moon is just the moon.

I actually do love and play AST and am even committing my tomes to it. The difference between you and me is I would advocate for the job to get the improvements it needs while you would have it languish as is. So who loves the job more?

You hit the nail on the head here. Its impossible to have a proper discussion with Vlady about anything. How can you have a discussion with someone who contradicts themselves in their own posts and pulls numbers out of thin air?

Next in this thread we will learn not only does the moon not exist as its a government conspiracy, but how lizard people live on the moon and rule the earth.

Anyway, i love AST. Main is locked into SCH for now due to AST not cutting it in raids, so i am levelling up an AST alt to have fun with. I know it needs changes and help to make it a competative healer, but i will keep using my alt for now :).

AST is not in a good place, i have reiterated this is so many threads now, and its an opinion that the vast majority of the community share.

I'm sick of this guy anyways. He runs around Balmung on a mission and harasses us all

The best would be the card system completely revamped so it helps us rather then some random buffs we can throw around that barely has any effect while we are inferior to the other healers.

I am curious if SE will say anything during the dev letter august 22nd.

Why do I get the sneaking suspicion that Galdous and Vlady are the same person? Galdous replied to a question originally directed at Vlady from Muahbec ... And used the first person pronoun, "I", to respond. Oddly enough, they also play on the same server and Vlady specifically mentions a MCH friend/brother multiple times as a "testing" partner; Galdous is also happy to back up Vlady's many claims in multiple threads, despite the numerical and statistical improbability of the claims (despite having them explained, multiple times ... Similar to Vlady). Searching for their characters, there seems to be multiple "Vladmiere Tansarville" (Galdous' last name) and a separate "Galdous Raijin" (Vlady's last name) with strikingly identical appearances. Could be a coincidence, but might explain why Galdous claims to have played AST and "loves it" in a response originally meant to be from Vlady.

Galdous also makes claims/statements similar to Vlady in many threads, with no actual evidence or logical reasoning behind them, especially since he doesn't have AST leveled. Turns out, Vlady also posts in threads about MCH/BRD, while not having leveled MCH/BRD on Vladmiere Raijin. Coincidence? Perhaps. But too similar of a pattern to ignore; had to point it out, whether it's right or wrong. Especially if we're going to discuss the moon being a government conspiracy, or claim that AST is in a good position.

If you go to the lodestone and look at both characters (Vladmiere and Galdous) both even have the same nameday.

Another weird fact.
Vlady's FC only have 2 members.
Vladmiere Rai-JIN-
and
Ashua Valu-JIN-
Galdous have no FC (and funny enough he has a lv60 MCH)
without mentioning that both Ashua and Vladmiere have the exact same hair color the same race and almost the same face lol
the only difference being the class and the nameday, Vlad's being the 4th sun and 2nd astral moon and Ashua's being 3rd sun and 1st astral moon, (which is also weird- Vlad 4-2 and Ashua 3-1 only one sun and moon different)
also, ashua and galdous have the same guardian lol, all of them being part of the same grand company.

To be fair, it may not be that Vlady and Galdous are the same person, but that Galdous is in fact Vlady's brother. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen family ignorantly stick up for each other like that. Hell, I've seen friends and even just guild mates in games do the same thing.

Either way, I think it's impossible that they aren't at least connected in one way or another.
