Actually, I've never been looking for one. I don't like fate farming, it's boring as hell, and wouldn't probably do it even if people were nice while doing them ;) I did that today just out of curiosity (and to get some GC seals meanwhile, why not), as you can understand if you read my post.

the problem with this is that you think it's the player's job to be super conscientious with stuff like this and put their gameplay on hold because someone else isn't getting credit on a FATE. people just want to PLAY the game. they aren't having some internal debate in their mind on whether or not them clearing FATEs too fast is excluding people. it's not their job to think about that, it's SE's.

unless you join a FATE party at the moment, then yeah -- you aren't really going to get anything past silver. it kind of sucks, but a clear and easy solution exists -- refusing to use it is on you. SE firmly believes that fates will normalize down the line a bit once more people have hit cap.. i think their view is a bit more important than a players', seeing as they designed the game and no doubt have access to various player data metrics.

Im out, tis game just NOT whort of sub.
End game is insane boring, 1 dungeon to farm and trash mobs dont drop nothing make killing interesting.

going back to WoW for so long that TESO or EQN landmark get released.
even WoW dont have so elitist jerk community then tis game.

Yep. Agree 100% OP. Yep. Its not just the route the community has chosen to take its the general attitude and behaviors of some that is just terrible. Had a person trolling the shout chat by spoiling the high level story missions for everyone in a zone. I know that is just one bad experience but it is a decent example of the mindset of a small percentage of the community. MMOs are all about the community no matter how fun the game is a bad community can make or break an MMO.

As I said I know that almost no one is going to or willing to do that, but we should. Just look at what happened with the AFK timer and the speedruns. Those were affecting the rest of the playerbase and SE corrected it, but their solutions would have not been neccessary if those players where a bit more responsible of their actions. We have freedom to do a lot of things both in the game and in our real life, but that doesn't mean that we should do some of them, right?

Actually, it's feasible to obtain gold if you want to act desperate as those people, and without joining a fate group. But, again, we shouldn't have to do it. As I said in the OP I hope too that all this gets normalized with time, but the fact that there's some things right now that are wrong (and not just in this game) prevails. Now we have those issues, but if our mentality doesn't change (and it won't change, even if I hope to be wrong) we'll have more and different issues in the future related to the same base problem.

If you actually believe this I dare you to take on Svala or the cyclops without a tank/healer. There is a degree of role requirements for FATE, it's just not so rigid that you can't do it without the presence of other jobs.

This is entitlement at its worst. You fail to realize dungeons get you actual gear. You can't fully deck yourself out in GC gear and call yourself functional. You still need gear from dungeons in order to gear yourself up.

Assuming that FATE is even a problem (it isn't), the only change I would suggest is how people get credit and separate rewards per player even if they are in a party. That and give little or no reward if you don't complete FATE objectives. I got a whole group mad at me the other day after I cleared a fate in northern Thanalan where people instead of doing the objectives were pulling the mobs to a corner to AoE burn them down while my chocobo and I were killing the actual mobs to complete the objective.

I think the real issue is we all read these forums too much. If I ignore these forums the game is just fine. :-P

LOL why does everyone say make dungeons more rewarding just drop the FATE XP to a minimum and dungeons are more rewarding you get nearly 1.5k XP for every single trash mob inside a dungeon lol. Use it and don't make it anymore.

a dungeon took me 60 minuets and I got over 120k XP that is fine by me on lvl 44. so why do we complain? I think it is rewarding enough just drop the FATE xp

EDIT:
PEOPLE are just to lazy to do dungeons admit it I am inside the duty finder for 2 hours tsraight now trying to make my Main quest dungeon.
