Noone is crying except the people that are doing their relic..

As far as relics go I got all the relics for the story line. You little a little bit of history and insight into the job. However animus does not offer story line. We also know that when the new coil comes out and we get i135 oil weapons. Novus will also be able to upgrade to i130 at the same time(unless they are behind schedule on it again). This means that the next stage after novus will be acquirable as a precursor to the HHA weapons. Remember novus was supposed to be 2.5 but it got pushed back to 2.9.

Well that's what I was getting at. Just do it without complaining cuz it'll pay off in the long run. I think you're right cuz I remember hearing that they said endgame raids will always be the strongest. However if you know SE, you know they bend the truth oftenly and even change their mind. Like I mentioned before, their intention isn't for everyone to posses the fully upgraded relic. They did the same thing in FFXI.

Your arguments are based on lack of information or misinformation.
Just because players choose to sit in Mor Dhona and have a fashion show instead of doing challenging content. Does Not mean coil isn't core to the FFXIV game.
Its where all the top gear is.

1) Relic weapons only appear in XI and XIV, so "27 years of FF history that says otherwise" is just wrong.
2) Relic progression does not increase in difficulty at all. In fact one could view the first tier as the hardest part (at its time) . There is nothing difficult about doing fates or maps.
3) Everything else aside, Top end dungeon will always have the best gear. Thats how these games work.

If i remember yoshi-p said that the relic would become the most powerful wep in the game. Like when Curtana become a Excalibur it be the top item in the game. He also said that they be more upgrade to Excalibur to make sure this legendary sword and the rest of the relics stay the most powerful ingame.

Sure he could end up changing his mind but he should pretty much tell us that now so we don't waste our time if that the case. I'm just going to keep doing it and hope he does not change his mind just to make player base that does not want to do it happy.

Anyways, as far as other single player FF games go, while not being referred to as relic weapons per say, the "relic" weapons themselves do appear and some are BiS for those characters. A little research goes a long way hehe.

Yea relics aren't getting harder per say, they've just gotten tedious. They're a timesink in a game that's aimed at casuals. You get the idea? Plus, I've been dealing with SEs shenanigans for some 10 years now and they follow a very strict formula and don't deviate much from it. Mark my words, Relics will be BiS in due time.

...or you can wait until we get word that the final Relic weapon will be 5 ilvls above all other game content, then start scrambling to join Atma parties with the other slackers.

Because its part of the game, the lore, the story.
I don't know about you but I didn't buy this game to stand around in Mordohna looking fancy in gear I farmed from hunts.

Thyrus gets more healing per cast despite HA having higher ilvl, magic dmg, and mind because of det. The total number of secondary points also isn't affected by weight.
