This makes sense to me. Thank you.
How about when you pay the OPs Monthly Sub then you can complain about him rushing content.
Pretty much what the OP is saying is that SE is taking a step back. Crystal Tower was suppose to be in at launch so lets stick with that for a few. So 2.1 should have been CoB turn6-10 and 2.2 should have been CT floors ?-? correct? But it didn't happen like that, But if it did then there really wouldn't be a "Lack of content" there would have been enough to keep people busy.
Here I posted this a few mins ago. In another thread.
Everyone pays to play the game and has the right to play at their own pace. If people want to take 14 weeks to get 1 job to level 50 or 14hrs to get level 50 then that's their choice. So if you (or anyone) decides to take your time with content that's your choice. If I (or anyone) wants to burn through content in a week that should be my choice, If I run out of content guess what that's my fault and I have to deal with the consequences with nothing else to do.
People keep throwing that "shouldn't have rushed through content" crap around and here we are almost 4 months after launch.
Lol. Then he doesn't have the right to tell someone else how to play the game since he doesn't pay for the OPs sub.
I'm OK with them releasing content for "casuals" and new players; but, I am not OK with them forcefully blocking progression for those with more time/efficiency on their hands. I was looking to gear up multiple alts with CT and this 1 item per week limitation is ridiculous ON TOP OF the already stupid loot itemization very noticeable in Coil.
I've unsubbed and as much as I want to come back to this game, with the current plan, it will fail to retain most people. This game was amazing on your first 1-50. After that, I treat it as a game over / move on type of situation until more dynamic and fun content surfaces.
I will always love that first trip from 1-50 though. Bravo on that aspect!
So to recap, from Coil I get:
- the ability to verify my group can succeed
- more difficult fights
- better quality gear
- a chance at more main job gear without limitation
- a chance at more *alt* job gear without limitation
- incentive for all players to stay until the end
From Tower I get:
- no ability to ensure potential completion
- potentially difficult and fun fights? currently unknown
- mid-range quality gear that looks kinda pretty
- only one piece of loot per week, main *or* alt
- zero assurance any relevant pieces will drop
- have to farm it if i'm seeking something specific
- zero incentive to stay until the end unless loot is only distributed at the end
I enjoy raid content a *lot*, and I enjoy seeing it from different perspectives. But once I've seen it a few times, I'm mostly just going through the motions to extract the reward at the end, or to get to something more interesting after the stuff I've already seen.
It'd be one thing if Tower only gave you one 'loot token' per run so you can buy the exact piece you want, one every week. This, however, is entirely another: I have a minimal incentive to run it on any class. It's designed to be the inroads to Coil, but people will always get more out of just jumping in and doing Coil in Darklight/crafted gear and taking whatever occasional Tower drops they manage to wring out of this ill-considered system.
Sorry. You didn't understand what this is meaning.
Minimum requirement of iLvl 55 means, that you can beat it with this level of gear, if everyone (that means every 24 players) are playing their role close to perfect (I'm sure, there will be a very low amount of player that can do that). The more mistakes will be done, the higher equip you will need to compensate these mistakes.
So stop crieing and wait for the content.
