A feedback about jobs :
Healer :
Healer are balanced, but whm is the better one, not by far, but still, (you have a burst, 10% damage debuff, and a bit more heal because of the regens skill off course).
Also Cure II, Benefic II ect... heal 4000 HP when a simple GCD from tank, ranged and melee is 4000 HP as well, i think its hard to deal against pressure as healer because of that.
Melee : Monk have powerfull burst, samurai and ninja is strong and have good burst, and dragoon... Why his dive CD is 45 sec ? its like he just do pressure and have weak burst.
Tank : All tank look alike but nascent flash from war is not intersting, its harder to use and don't heal more than the regen of Gunbreaker, it make nascent flash the weakest peel of all tank, this skill should be replaced or buffed
Ranged : DNC and SMN is strong, Bard and machinist is weak, why the bard don't have a burst on army's Peaon. RDM have an harder time when everyone have sprint its harder for ranged relying on casting, it's even more true for a BLM.
But i still think RDM and BLM is strong but need more training works than DNC and SMN.
For The balance sake i suggest this vision : Nerf somes jobs and buff others is a bad move, i mean : buff the weakest or Nerf the strongest but if you choose to do nerf and buff in the same times you get other balances issue.
Glowing weapons for Wolf Collars. :3
I'm going to stop you right there. These just aren't true at all, like at all. You're just lying at this point and people who don't play Feast (who don't know better) might even believe you. The PVP community is small, and you recognize the players on the board. You see them in matches and you fight them, so you know them. There have been people suspected of cheating (buying wins, etc) but those people are shunned. It's simply not true to say that cheaters / alts take up the majority of the Top 100.
Also, ranged queues are tough. But I made Top 100 3 seasons (Season 1 / 5 / 8, each season I tried) on SMN (using healer in low level queues to speed through to higher matches where I needed my main job). You can make Top 100 on ranged, it's not impossible. I have a full time job and am married. I don't play all day. I queue'd after dinner on weekdays and over the weekend in the afternoons/evenings.
Please don't spread misinformation.
Please stop removing abilities and then adding the same ones back in.
I know you guys like to do a big "revamp" of PvP every expansion, so please try to remember this post for future reference.
For Sch I think indominabilty should have 3 charges.
I still feel like sch is at the bottom of the healers in feast.
The only thing I see good about sch right now is Biolysys + DRK's edge of shadow on a target for 40% reduction to hp recovered.
All of this, plus loads of people have been hoofed from Ladder for cheating/being boosted. And like Nirokun, both my top 100 seasons were played purely as Range, I think anyone on my DC can attest aside from S4 where I decided going Scholar seemed like a good idea after getting 1600 as SMN - I have never played on the ladder as anything else. Since S7 I've worked lates & nights, which limited heavily my ability to have time to play (because my late shift is 2PM-10PM ST, ergo covering the entire time span queues are active; you 9-5 guys have no idea how lucky you are). Also DPS queues were instant as melee for the majority of Stormblood, so it's clear you're just regurgitating negative information, Poppet, and have no idea what you're talking about.
"Top 100 are win traders & alts" Excuse is getting old, can we please drop it, since those who claim that have not provided solid proof even once.
At this point is almost as lame as my other favorite excuse that keeps popping in the forums "X keeps undercutting me, he's using bots".
Top 100 is all just the same guy on different accounts.
The man runs a racket. How can he keep getting away with it.
Add Feast Ost Themes to top 100 mounts (Previous and future mounts) for example:
1st mount can have the standard feast theme and the reskin mount can have the culling theme. This will make these rewards feel more like theyre from PvP and It's more fitting for a special mount to have the ost of where its from than having the standard mount theme the majority of basic mounts have.
Also consider osts from rival wings and frontlines for those mounts as well.
SE (probably): Don't worry we hear you loud and clear! The entire OST will now just be Borderless so you get that feeling everywhere you go, opening, login screen, towns, dungeons, and especially both feast and culling time. Please look forward to it!
For real though that's a big one for me. Especially since the only PVP mount that is different I believe is the Frontlines 100 win node mount, since that plays the ARR mount theme.
One thing I would like to ask is for more SE focused support for Feast.
Challenge Log and some of the achievements just aren't enough to draw in new players. I'd like to see them add in a weekly rotating bonus akin to a gacha game that goes on each week. It could be something like extra EXP, more wolf marks, maybe even have a stamp system that when people play they earn a reward they can exchange for a payout. Just something to help keep these queues active as without the Mogtomes event the only thing pulling people in are the achievements and the wolf marks. Which they'd go after frontlines instead anyway.
from the start of the patch i've thought Nascent Flash was really lacking, tried using it with aoe's, single targeting etc, felt like it didnt relieve any pressure or anything. would like to see it apply a small shield similar to how it is in pve to make up for the lack of healing, either that or buff the healing returned.
Also yeah, give mounts from top 100 a better OST other than a basic one.
Suggestion from Dacer
Please prevent people from queueing in ranked if there's no ranked season happening.
Current speculations for 5.15 adjustment patch:
Ninja get tune down but not in the potency aspect. Assassinate is likely to be replaced with a new action ( could be shadows fang) to make in line with every Meele shares Smite. Increase CD on Shukuchi (45s?) and III Wind (45s?)
Monk will get tune down by increase CD on Riddle of Fire and Riddle of Earth.
They may either revert 15% Meele passive damage buff or lower it to 10%.
They may adjust the gauge system. Making it losing 75% of gauge instead of 50%. This will reduce the chance of on GC domination.
24 men will be restored and 8 men premade will be restored.
Invulnerable from red pawn will be increased to 15s from 10s
Mount speed will be reduced by 25%
Rewind back to 5.0s PvP and try again, 5.1 PvP honestly deserves the 1.0 Dalamud treatment.
Failing that, having the developers actually talk us through their through process, like they used to in Heavensward (example), would be nice. I'd love to know the reasoning behind potions with an insane delay on activation, for example. If the developers are unable to justify their changes in a community rep post, maybe the changes shouldn't be taken to begin with. Heck, we even had some community rep posts throughout Stormblood (example), but the kind of huge changes 5.1 saw doesn't get a single word? Is the PvP community just not worth engaging with anymore?
Yeah it would be fine to have an incentive to run feast training for exemple once a day.
Good Exp reward for exemple, so we can have somes games on peak time.
We can arge guys will sometimes not heal to finish it early, but its already the case for any reward anyway, and it's still a minority of people doing this.
And pls never listen to guys complaining about rewards on casual pvp. such as frontline, feast training, rival wings, they tend to forget one thing : reward keep the modes alive, they can play on peak times if there enough incentive to play.
Maybe you get the frustration of somes players doing whatever and care only of the rewards. But when mode is dead because there no incentive to do ?
Its just dead, and then you complaining about the rewards for nothing.
I have see plenty of times guys complains about these rewards, for the moogle event for exemple. You can argue, but without garo of these moogle tomes you din't see the big difference ?
This forum is really not providing any useful feedback/ information compares to other forum. There is no progressive discussion over anything; merely push-pull between people that complains and people that disagree.
Suggestion :
Hire new people to design pvp
Events/rewards aimed at getting people into PvP needs to stop TBH. SE should instead focus on events that get people to actually play PvP.
Mog Tomes was literally no difference between a win and an loss, saw plenty just there for the tomes putting in no-to-little effort. Garo was slightly better, but the achievements you needed wins for you could still ultimately just roll the dice enough times to clear them. Same goes for literally all the achievements in PvP, only difference playing well makes to earning any of them is time, 1% win rate or 100% win rate, everyone will still get them eventually.
We need events/achievements that actually focus on playing PvP, rather than just participation rewards, which really is every single PvP reward right now. Same sort of thing applies to the recent Frontlines changes IMO; SE removed 24 player and limited people to 4 player premades because "premades were too powerful", but why handle it like that? That's not really doing anything to improve PvP, it's just an attempt to make participation easier with no focus on actually getting people to play properly. Why not instead encourage more people to form premades? Like how hard would it really be to add a new queue option for Frontlines, that puts you in the same queue as everyone else, but you're limited to a 4 player premade with members of your PvP Team? Wins/Kills/Assists/whatever earned while queuing in that mode go towards achievements/event rewards for the whole group, since that nicely circumvents the whole issue of role disparity with regards to such things (so say you're a healer, you still get the kills from the DPS you queued with). Done. Now you've given PvP Teams an actual purpose outside a once a year Feast event. You've effectively limited premades to 4 players without forcing the issue. You've got a set of achievements/events that can work off actually engaging with PvP properly. You've encouraged people to actually go into PvP with a group rather than just queuing solo and not coordinating.
But no, we'll get another Mog Tomes event soon, and people can literally sit in the corner of Seal Rock eating dirt and still reap all the rewards. Good job, SE. To be honest though, I'd even be fine with that if they at least worked it so there is always demand for PvP as a result of such events. Ending Garo without a replacement hasn't worked out too well, and the new PvP gear was so easy to obtain that it really didn't keep people queuing for long at all... How about raising that Wolf Marks currency cap so new gear can actually take more than a week to earn? Don't even need to do that to be honest, having tokens (like for tomestone weapons) can circumvent any currency cap easily. Still not really fixing the issue with PvP rewards, but eh... Keeping people PvPing for new items for two weeks is an improvement on them only Pvping for one week.
Their 700 page thread was starting in 2014, so they don't start new topics like we do when we feel our favorite class got nerfed too hard.
They make more use of the upvote system of the forums, it is not uncommon to see random posts have like 30-80 upvotes. I don't think it is hard to get feedback opinions there, they post a bit less.
Anyway, they seem highly in favor to make past rewards obtainable for top100 voucher too. Maybe that will be the next change. xD

Unfortunately, that is where you are wrong.
The common issue for NA forum is that people only read OP, then read first few comments on first page and last page then just jump into the wagon.
It is so easy to derailed a discussion thread on NA forum; especially you already seeing quite few one-linear here and there on this forum.
The voice that really matters should be form those who actually read the tread, understand both side's arguments then gives own personal thought.
This makes up the real progressive discussion and this is what we don't see on this forum.
I don't feels sorry for the community manager, it is their job.
It is our problem that we never gives in-depth discussion; for example, that Ninja OP thread.
There is no context of why OP believed why Ninja is OP but merely few screenshots of Ninjas with the damage output (in which can be achieve by any one)
No one is going to be able to extract useful information from that type of thread
Suggestion from Lace Valeria:
Potions in concept are great, but in actual application are pretty terrible, often registering after incoming damage (Recuperate and conventional healing spells often registered before). SE should really look into the delay between use and effect of potions.
Why is there a massive mentality and mechanical gap between the regions when it comes to skill in this PvP specifically? SE let's do something about it!
