I agree with that as long as it is not something like an ex primal or savage that is out for a while and you join in a farm party. For that you have to inform yourself just for the reason to not be an issue for the party.Quote:

I don't talk in 24-mans and tend to do it blind, as does most of my static. We don't talk because we don't want to waste our time with the chaotic cesspool of bad players and would rather just use our own brains to figure out what are typically incredibly simple and obvious mechanics. In fact, we tend to expect most pugs in our alliance to wipe to the most basic shit ever regardless of whether they've done it/seen it/blind. Sad to say, this is usually the case. -

I couldn't tell at the time if he was being an a$$ or was genuinely wondering, so I just replied "technically" and left it at that. We wiped a few times at the nail when the other DPS wasn't attacking it. The same guy kept telling them to focus on the nail, he didn't seem upset about it, so after we finally cleared I gave him my commendation since he apparently was just trying to help.Quote:

It is pretty simple. They say nothing because this community criminalize newbies blaming them, don't allow them complete content blocking their access to parties or directly runaway from party every time there is someone new. I see this too many times I've lost the count.
The game is newbie friendly, the community ISN'T. So, it is better say nothing in most cases. -

The only party a person with a near clear should join is a clear party. Maybe a learning.
Farm parties certainly aren't the place for blind runs. And people wonder why the no bonus culture exists.
Because a near clear apparantly qualifies them for a farm party...
The same is true for clear parties. If a player is joining one of them having never set foot in the instance and wanting to go in blind. The problem isn't that he wants to do the fight blind it's that he's clearly joined the wrong party in the first place.
There should never be an expectation for players to watch videos or read guides or anything such even if the content is a year old. The only thing players should do is read party finder descriptions or use the correct settings on raid finder. Duty incomplete > duty completion is not the correct setting for the first time in a fight.
The problem isn't that players don't speak up or say there new or anything it's that they clearly shouldn't be in those parties on the first place . And it's players who think they are the exception and join anyway that are responsible for the apparantly toxic no bonus culture. And whining how can we get clears when everything is no bonus....
If no join a learning party and don't tell anyone it's my first time. That's no problem. It's a learning party it should be expected.
If I join a clear party or farm party and it's my first time. It doesn't matter whether I say anython or not. It's blatantly obvious the real problem is I shouldn't be in that party at all in the first place.
