You never know it might get better. the infrastructure between the US and Europe is quite good and maybe better between the US and Canada. It depends how your traffic is routed.

It does depend on your location of course, but from northern England through the WTFast server in London to the game in Montreal I get an average of 99-116 ms.

It seems that they have already connected the database as my main character is back (was quite annoying being unable to post on forums due to alt's level) so we will see soon how the ping stands.

I had about 160-200 ms usually, so the improvement should be quite good in comparison.

never had an issue (constant lags the server location is the reason for) anyway, so i wonder if I will actually notice something. maybe for mudra input in crowded areas...

I think it'll make favor mat farming a bit smoother. I think I'll lose a 1/10th of a second now and then by mounting/unmounting, between each gathering, on selecting the node, etc... I think this will add up.

So happy for the move, going from 290 to hopefully 180 ping! If its located in Frankfurt it will be possible with WTF for 180 :)

I've got a question, the time spend in non-game (maintance) obviously will back right? I mean, they will refund you those days you missed caused by the maintance.

If you had an active character on a Chaos server when they announced the transfer then yes.

The 34 hours maintenance in EU comes out to about 75 cents out of your monthly subscription.

But yeah, I recall them saying the downtime in this case would be reimbursed in the form of an extension to the sub expiry date, but whether that was when they thought the move could take up to five days I don't remember.

Yup i have a ping of 30ms and from what i can see the servers are in Germany Dusseldorf

AAAARGH I sooooo wish I could try it right now. But I am stuck in work, and then in pub so won't probably get on till tomorrow evening. :/

Really looking forward to ~30 ping (I used to have 20-25 to Frankfurt with LoL servers, and 35ish to Amsterdam, this should be somewhere in between).

Yeah problem is I'm an Australian player and from tests I've run my ping will be between 390 (Germany) and 410 (Ireland), additionaly I'm a ps4 player so I can't use WTFast and the like.

In Titan Ex, definitely felt like it's made a big difference, but maybe staying up all night is altering my perception a little.

Wait so since the lag increased for me I can use this excuse now instead of "I just really suck bad at all Titan fights"??

I'm looking forward to seeing if I can stance dance without having to hammer deliverance (and sometimes accidentally turning it off). Expecting to be around the 30-40 mark down from 110 or so.

It should help a LOT.
When I started using WTFast, my ping went from 130-140 to 99-105, and even that made a difference. I have not dropped off the Titan HM spire ever since.
