Gear is not really gender locked any more unless you want to wear the female cloths on your male character. After you unlock the gear you can pick it up for male and female from the Calamity Salvager. Along with other things you have unlocked check it ou.
That isn't exactly what is being said. He was saying that if we point out an actual problem earlier then it would be fixed earlier. He thought he saw a problem through the preview. Things like this happen all the time. They show a preview or talk about future content and people ask questions about perceived problems. Since it was brought up, gay marriage. This was a problem people saw before the content was actually released and it got fixed before released instead of after or never. In this particular case I think he was overzealous and wrong. But to think its stupid to ask/point out possible problems is wrong as well.
Lol this thread is so hilarious! I'm sure SE has many more important things to implement instead of crossdressing.
They promised male exclusive vanity for 2.3. Maybe it's not this?
I think fantasia was created to solve a very different problem than "I really would also like to wear that particular style of new armor you are releasing." I like that they added the potions because who knows, I might get bored of being a femroe someday - but I'm with Keisuma - not going to change my character's entire identity over an article of clothing. It's far better to gently suggest to the devs that perhaps gender-exclusive items is not really the way to go here. If you're giving girls a new style, give it to guys as well appropriate of their builds.
Maybe b/c you guys play females so this is exclusively for you , should be happy about it XD .
But guys wear dresses !!! Please DONT .
Believe it or not, super unrealistic changes like that are frowned upon in the RP community at large. I know it seems really stupid, but unless you have a really really good plot related reason that has a solid basis in the game's canon, you're going to looked down upon. Besides, what reason would a demon possibly have for turning a guy into a girl? Seems really weird.
I don't get it, what is the issue here? There's not a heart on your specific race's hat and so the world is going to end? This title is misleading as well, "Female Only Gender Lock" (please ignore the fact that female lalafells and male hyurs wear the same hat so I have a reason to complain)
This is ridiculous.
Wow. What precisely is it about a "dress" that makes you so darned uncomfortable? When I think of "dress" on a man I'm thinking a full battle plate set of gear for a paladin, beautiful shining silver, shield on one arm and sword held high in the air as he protects all those standing behind him... Or I think of the dark-robe wearing Black Mage, staff held in front of him as he closes his eyes and whispers the words to devastating ancient magic.
I can't imagine ever being so fragile as to put negative connotations around a man wearing an item that doesn't completely wrap around each individual leg. It's ridiculous the way some guys carry on about stuff like that.
In this thread" "I wanna wear dresses!"
Gross.
Everyone seems to be forgetting that Male casters are wearing like 5inch heels, and a skirt with soldiery gear. In fact not only do male miquito's get an erection they also get a red bow over their tail which is kitty only not gender so I would assume that both male and female kittys will have the bow over their tail............
As far as anthropology goes, Culture sets up what is "Masculine and feminine" in many cultures through out history's dress and skirts were what royal males wore, and were the standard battle garb over pants. Many males wore heels or platforms to make them seem stronger. In many cultures and species it's the males job to look the prettiest and attract a mate, which we are seeing a leaning towards in American.
Guys in dresses... wizards with swords. Two-Horned Ripper or riot (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Lol just ask any guy if he can wear a dress and listen to him if he imagine a dress is what you just said.
And you can google *dress* and you can get the clear idea of why is weird to let a man wear a dress .
But leave what people think about dress , This is what I mean by dress

Its all about common sense.
I don't think a frilled sleeping bonnet would look very good on our males.
I think you missed a few things. First, never said it was the end of the world. Second, the issue is about there being a trend of SE making more female only clothes than male only clothes, meaning that if this continues there will be more vanity gear for women and less for men.
Actually I'm not too enthused about the frilly cap itself, I just don't like the trend we're seeing.
I really cant understand guys , all of them in many threads cleared that they like to play with female characters and maybe all of females in game are guys unless they proven not to be .
And now complaining for SE about making more *only female gears* more then males ? ...... I just cant get it .
I'm more disturbed by the derplander wearing lala shorts personally. :o

More male than female toons.
I am 100% behind this. I'm still cut up about valentines day recolour and not having a "spring suit" version of the spring dress. I don't mind gender-locked items as long as guys get something cool and unique to wear too :( I want to be able to dress up snazzy!
Which just points to *actual* subscribers not matching up with the 3 mil numbers. I know that I have several alts, some of which are male avatars sooooo... take that into consideration. It's not giving numbers of actual players, just character data ripped from the lodestone.
