lol?
You can't get 12 stacks, it caps at 11.

With brand new market and niche items, where given more time far more crafters will be entering the market, it's madness to heavily undercut your first competitor.
This happen with many items on my server, prices have not recovered anywhere close to what they were and there is more competition, despite the first crafter to do this vanishing.
What do you need before you begin using this macro, food-wise? A HQ bou for the CP?
Also: can this macro be used with fully melded gear, artisan spectacles, artisan primary tool, and Control IV, Craftsmanship III, and CP III ONLY melded to off-hand? Thanks!
Max CP which is HQ bou and full overmeld which used to be 391cp, long as you got the min control/craft requirements you can run it
This will not do the new augment line however as augmented items take an extra pbp
Also, augment doesn't need to be HQ does it? Since you're just trading it in for the ability to dye the armor, right? Can you use one of your bonus macros for the augment item? Or just remove something from your original macro rotation and throw in an extra Piece by Piece in order to make it?
No that comment was about Augmented 3 star items, not the augment boxes for quest gear
Oh okay thanks for the heads up. What are the augmented 3-syar items exactly or how can you identify them? Are they just the new recipes from the new master recipe books? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn as much as I can, I just recently earned my first artisan primary tool :)
yeah once you got the new master book it will show up in your listing
see the following
http://xivdb.com/?item/8458/Augmente...obe-of-Healing
Remove a sh protected hasty, insert a pbp and then look at some mana/ability adjustment, I haven't bothered with them yet since I've mostly been high level gsm desything to get all of my new tools etc. Some of the new gear will allow for cp expansion as well so that should be factored in when doing it.
Desyn:
Work on anything cheap in material and work your way up. Make your own items, which is quick as you do not need HQ (IngII+CSII). At the beginning you only need a few items, as you will get 1+ per desyn. Once you hit 30-40s, it will slow down to <0.25, and this is when you need to start move to more expensive materials. Once at the 60s, start doing aetheryte ring (current cause of market shortage of water crystal).
FYI: Once you reach the 30s, you will start to RNG desyn materia and more frequent as you lvl up. DoW/M items gets battlecraft materia, and DoL/H fieldcraft materia, which you need 35 battle/field each for all of the Master II recipes (no CUL).

Posting here just so I can find this easy.
Thanks OP for sharing!
Elasia, now I don't know as much about crafting, crafting macros, and crafting rotations as you, but I noticed something and perhaps it would be a good amendment or maybe I'm just failing to see the reasoning behind it or not thinking this all the way through. In your "Build Macro 1", you have a completely unprotected Hasty Touch toward the end, which will likely blow up (it has for me on several occasions after noticing this). My suggestion would be to remove that Hasty Touch and place it in the CP Macros. It would fit in all of them placed after Steady Hand II except the 163 CP and 181 CP macros (where it could be placed before the Steady Hand II, instead, for these two specific macros only), because the Steady Hand II wouldn't reach the Byregot's Blessing to protect it from blowing up. I don't even think the CP macros' titles need to be reworked when you go to calculate which one to use based on remaining CP and Comfort Zone stacks, because Hasty Touch costs zero CP! Thoughts? :)
EDIT: I see where the problem lies, it's with the Master's Mend II, it wouldn't be healing the durability to its full potential by removing a Hasty Touch before it. Perhaps the Master's Mend II could be moved to after the first durability-reducing action of Build Macro 2 -- or I wonder if your macro can be modified now anyway, given the new crafting accessories.
Bingo, you solved your own riddle perfectly
And yeah I would think a few tweaks could be done to this chain given more cp now as well as making mods to handle the augment armor / aspect crafts but as far as aspect crafting and given their cost range / insanely low demand given those fixed costs.. i flat out hand craft those on demand
These macro's working perfectly for me, thanks a lot. :D
btw, great job here.
Might wanna point out about making how much CP required for rotation here, and how you achieved getting that much CP. Just recently test without CP food and it doesn't have enough to even reach 88 CP for that 3rd macro rotation.
"I use max control/cp along with 391 crafting when executing this chain", note that was as of the 2.2 line so max cp melding of that era and hq bou food
Thanks a lot for this macro ! it works wonderfull
i mainly craft food, and I use to afk for extended periods of time, so i mainly use NQ mats, and only low lvl cheap CP food (pea soup etc)
My gear : everything maxed up, with the ilvl 70 tool
still, out of 20 semi-afk attemps on 3 star food, i made 13 HQ, so not too bad !
I just wanted to contribute to this thread. For anyone interested in continuing to use this macro (if you don't trust yourself enough to manually synthesize or what have you) for augmented attire and ilvl95 primal weapons, I have edited the first build macro to allow you to do that seamlessly. Both of these macros appear to still work even if you hit no Tricks of the Trade procs during the entire synthesis. Please feel free to double-check my macro amendments for validity and completeness. All credit for the original macro creation goes to Elasia. Thanks Elasia for an amazing macro!
NOTE: Only use the specified build macro #1 below for the specific craft it is for. You can then continue following through with the rest of the original macro as Elasia had presented it in the original post.
ilvl90 AUGMENTED ATTIRE (glowing)
Note: This synthesis requires an extra Piece by Piece in order to successfully complete. The only amendment was to remove a Hasty Touch and replace it with a Piece by Piece in the original build macro #1.

ilvl95 PRIMAL WEAPONS
Note: This synthesis requires three Piece by Piece and four Careful Synthesis II all under Ingenuity II in order to successfully complete. The only amendment required was to add Ingenuity II, an extra Piece by Piece, and one Careful Synthesis II, while removing two Hasty Touch from the original build macro #1. The remaining three Careful Synthesis II under Ingenuity II required in order to successfully complete the synthesis can be found in the original end-step finisher macros. Also the last line reminder (to hit build macro 2) had to also be removed, because of exceeding the 15 lines allowed for a macro -- just remember to hit macro 2!
Note 2: Be aware that crafting a HQ version of these items is very difficult, especially with an automatic macro. When losing a number of Hasty Touch to other actions, your chances for crafting a HQ version continues to drop. Just be aware :)

Tooooooo much macro :D
Hiya,
I'm not familiar with Elasia's macro's to easily be able to see any errors sorry.
I suspect with your additions the items should be crafted successfully, but do think that the HQ rate would be very low, especially for the i95 elemental aspect weapons.
In my opinion if you want any reasonable chance to HQ the elemental i95's, you really need to do the manually.
I would say I average around 70% HQ rate (I would have said this is a decent rate) on the harder elemental aspect i95's doing the craft fully manually, I suspect with macro's it would be significantly lower.
Thanks for the input, the disclaimer to the HQ rate for the Primal Weapons has been addressed in my post. But Elasia's macro has been pretty good to me so far for regular 3-star items. It makes my item HQ more often than not and much of the time with very high HQ percentages. I also don't trust myself enough to manual craft anything just yet haha.
You have mentioned the HQ rate, but I don't think you realise just how bad it would be done with macro's xD
For the Augmented Chest Pieces, assuming the craft finishes, I suspect the HQ rate would be reasonable. As they are far far easier to HQ than many of the i95 weapons.
True. Could you give me a couple examples of how manual crafting could be better? I would like to begin manual crafting myself, but I just don't think I know how and when during the synthesis I could benefit from it. For example, I would be torn between using a "Good" for a HQ increase or CP increase. I would appreciate any and all help, you don't have to write something long out, but it's about time I learn how to take advantage of manual crafting. Thanks :)
I'll try and explain... xD
For the basic Hasty Method, you need to use Tricks of the Trade on *every* "good" condition for the first 75% of the whole craft at least. The idea is to keep topping you CP up as much as possible. It's almost always better to use Tricks than trying to get more quality early on.
It does not matter if you have Steady Hands up, the CP gain from Tricks out-weighs the CP loss from losing 1 Steady Hands Stack.
Depending on how many ToT proc's I get, depends on when I'll be using progress or quality gaining skills.
Always aim to use Master's Mend II as your main Dura restoring skill, ideally twice on a 3 star craft if you get enough ToT proc's to leave you enough CP for your finishing moves after.
Refresh Comfort Zone as soon as it expires *as long as you know you'll have more than 10 steps left and will use the CP given by the last stack*. For 3 star I always use CZ at least twice, but frequently 3 times. (can be more even)
ToT proc's help to regain CP from the skill itself, but also helps you to use up CZ stacks. (With the hasty method your basically trying to make the craft use as many steps as possible, while keeping the CP ready for your finisher)
If you need to use a dura gaining skill, but wont have the CP left for the finishing moves, Manipulation is a good skill to use.
When finishing, try to force a "Good" condition on the Byregot's by either using Innovation or a Progress skill in between the Great Strides.
Needs practice, so you can get used to knowing when to use Mend 2 or Manipulation, so I'd suggest trying on 3 star food :)
I just want to say Thank you. You have no idea how much I love this macros. I used to craft everything manually, and this is the difference between night and day. ♥

Can you use the above macro for the 3 star NQ turn in items for the new main hand (intricate silver brocade)? If so what stats do you need?
Due to the progress required in the synth that will not be enough to pull it off. This should work though:
