This game has been releasing not just new content, but new features every patch. Although they may be minor, like ventures, every new feature is a new time sink... its something else to do. Most of this is true, but while yes, a new play joining up would technically have a plethora of things to do, unless it was a prereq for something else, much of the current content would be pointless. craftable gear by then will be higher ilevel than even darklight.
