It really sucks because i like the concept of skills like rescue, but i am not even surprised they are more so being implemented incorrectly at this point. Its like all good things, unfortunately, that they will eventually be exploited in a way not intended, to eventually get removed. All this experience has done, is make me think twice how i'd like to, and inapproprioately use shirk, to get my point across. And I might after this, because why not?Quote:

With toolkit what WHM have right now, healing its easy from even 5%. Just press your CD as tanks (what i think you dont use ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and do your job. Untill you not dead - everything is fine.

This is actually an issue involving the fact that you cant tell when enmity is established, looking at the enemy bars, and whether you or the tank has enmity.
So I'm happy to address this if your issue is you come in as DPS but want to tank.
The issue addressed is the use of Unleash to grab mobs, was cancelled, then i was froze for 5 seconds at the new destination. It dud not allow me to establish hate on the first group of mobs, cancelled out my attempt to, and forced me into the second group i was getting to within 2 to 5 seconds. This keeps tanks from grabbing hate, this is the issue The way it acts is very similar to living liquid when they drag/push you based on your charge. Its very hard to act/grab hate or do anything when you're literally stunned for 3 seconds or more, also cancelling your previous action and animation. -

If a healer doing nothing but pulling me when I am doing my rotation and I get stuck in an animation, it’s something wrong with the healer, not with my pulls.Quote:

I've seen a lot of, well, ...inexperienced WhM's, but it's very rarely the Glare bots, it's usually the healbots. They follow the same pattern, 1 Presence of Mind on the pull then ignore it. 1-2 Benison the entire fight, no asylum, temperance or Plenary, Assize only used to heal and buckets of Medica II's and Regens. The glarebots are usually the ones optimizing their class and besides an occasional stubborness on hardcasting raise (sort of like a silent battle of healer willpower to not be the one taking the job) they've been mostly fine in my experience.
Healbotting is definitely something I see 80% of the time (at least). Especially when I started playing AST. AST healing for example isn't reactive like WhM. You have 2 oGCD HoT's (Diurnal), wait time for Giant Dominance on star and ED is better value if you let the tank drop a bit. The group is in no danger waiting on any of these heals or letting HoT catch up, because raidwides are rarely in quick succession, but you can almost guarantee your co-healer is raining raidwide heals on the party like confetti.
I sometimes wonder how they're feeling during this. Are they, like the OP, sitting there going "wth this AST doesn't heal raidwides and the tank keeps dipping below 50%, I'm doing everything here!" as they snipe heal after unnecessary heal and turn thousands of my heal potency into wasted overhealing? "Look, he's just spamming dps and we're dying!" as 2 oGcD's are smoothly weaved in for a double HoT that's immediately wasted by heal spam. Who knows. -
