Mine was over zealous and gave me the money back, I'm not sure if that was standard though. I think part of it was there was some international setting on my card preventing those sort of purchases, maybe that made my circumstance unique lol.

Oh I was extremely nice - at first. I worked in a call center and understand that the person answering has no control over any current situation. However, after asking to be transferred multiple times and he refusing - that got me heated because now my field is actually legal and I knew what he was doing/saying was all serious business. And listen, I am not a hateful/whining person but if im upset (regardless of right or wrong) just allow me to vent and do your job of following the appropriate procedures, ya know? Other than that, I've NEVER had a problem with SE and actually love all the great gaming they add to my busy life. But I am refuse to back down when someone goes out of their way to purposely deny me my rights - hence, the post.
Again, this sounds like you are the one treating Square Enix abysmally. Not only do you admit to abusing their employees, but you haven't even shown Square Enix is at fault over your payments. And now you're insulting Square Enix's employees on a public forum.
Op your account is not deleted. You've just temporarily lost access. If it was deleted you could not have signed into the forums because access is tied to your account. Also I looked you up on loadstone and you're still there. A while back the authentication program they use for purchases on Mog Station decided it didn't like my card and none of them would work (funny thing is, its the Playstation CC). I finally had to tell Customer Service that if they couldn't take my cards (I tried multiple) then I couldn't pay my sub. Miraculously they were able to make it so I could use my CC for my usual autopay--I just have to use crysta for everything else. Make sure everything is ok on your bank's side then contact CS again and just explain that you need to use that card for your sub. -Or just buy time cards. Seems to be one of the better options.
EDIT: Saw it was about a purchase. Sounds like the same authentication shenanigans I had. If trying a different card doesn't work, set up a Paypal account for crysta. Customer service can make sure your sub is charged but they won't budge on the other stuff. Make sure your sub is sorted out then use paypal to buy crysta for all other stuff. Its an extra step but its better than fighting a losing battle.
Yeah everything was sorted in the same day too through the chat I had with one of their agents and my bank :)
I was just upset for the lack of no notice that made me panic about the possibilities of being hacked or worse, ya know? A notice would have allowed me to reach out to bank and get everything sorted or even provide whatever payment. Money is not an issue with me, at all. - I work extremely hard and my down time is this game. I work in the legal field and so I appreciate their efforts to avoid fraudulent activity but alas, "ownership" over material still has to have a "due process" before absolute termination. Example: If you own a house and someone missed rent - you can't kick them out. You have to give notice, allow it to expire, then allow law suit to initiate, have a hearing, then get a writ that allows the authority to physically remove tenants.
I saw something like that happen a few months back. It was quite obnoxious (especially as I was changing my sub from the monthly 1 character/server to 6mo 8characters/server, which requires a CC on file or Crysta banked, timecards alone won't do the trick), but, as you said, setting up a Paypal for Crysta worked around it just fine.

Sorry for all caps, thats not my doing - its a quote from the ToS you agreed to when you installed the game. While I'm wishing you all the best in resolving the issue (your bank might be a good place to start), I figured it might not be to bad to remember this bolded, all-caps part at the very beginning of the ToS before talking about what they legally can or cant do.
Suspending your account at any time for any or no reason given to you is well within their rights and you agreed to that. Your anger and frustration are still understandable but you should keep this in mind before you make matters worse.
Yeah, except they dont - as stated in the ToS you agreed to. This isnt real life rent and you dont own anything in game - you actually agreed that they dont have to give you notice or reason at all.
It said "Terminated" and it wouldn't allow me to log in here and post. I posted this today AFTER everything was fixed. But yeah, sounds like we had similar experiences. They gave me back BASIC ACCESS and I bought the Crysta which I didn't mind - In years of playing (Since Beta) I've never had an issue with payment or otherwise. As you can see, this is even the first time I'm posting on these Forums.
