EDIT: 00:19 am finished translation - fixed up some parts from earlier translation since it was bit unclear (was just typing as I was listening to the video)

Fixed the link to the video as well, sorry about that :) there are not images from ARR in there so viewing the video won't really make players much happy in my opinion... unless you want to hear YoshiP's voice lol

If you read our the numbers for today's date 11/28 in JP (not jyuichi / nijyuhachi...way but first character like how JP people remember some stuff 1 = i 2 = ni - ii niso) which translates to 'good knee-high socks'... so JP players claimed today to be 'good knee-high socks day' for our very own Soken in sound team...

I love the sense of humor he has lol.

Ya that was a very nice read. It really does make you feel good, when these people are really taking this whole FFXIV situation personal. Its personal towards every person working on it, and its personal for SE as a company. I think the way they ended the game was brilliant, and how they kept us guessing all the way to the end was just pure FF goodness. If they can keep this sort of thing going in Realm Reborn, great things will be coming, no doubt about that.

Also a note to Soken. I think he really should try to see what he thinks of thigh-highs. He may like those as well. I'm not sure if he ever commented on those types of socks or not lol. <3

You got to love SOKEN's sense of humor. A shame he couldn't hold up Dalamud long enough however.

I think what it's saying is that when selecting the teleport destination it will show you a visual of the Aetheryte's vicinity. The same goes for the Aethernet (small crystals). I think what the JP were asking for was a means to click on a crystal from your map and teleport directly to it, which doesn't really sound that hard to program compared to some of the other features. It's akin to highlighting regions in the FFXI Region Info maps - the icons are interactive.

Would be good to qoute the original text you're responding to but anyways I know which one you're talking about.

Not sure how many played since I think they only have JP version release but good example of this one is the Romancing Saga series method of travel. You have the map showing with locatoins you can click and port into. Similar system used in Last Remnant and many other games.

動画はできるだけルートに沿って移動しているため、そう見えるだけで、
コリジョンはかなり緩いですよ。ジャンプもありますしね:)
For the movie we are just moving along the route so it just looks that way but the collision it self is pretty loose since you got jump as well :)

This isn't gear set, it displays how full your bag is and the types of items in dot display.
It's made so you can get an image "Oh, my bag is about to get full" type of deal.

3都市には個室の宿屋が存在しますが、新生FFXIVでは宿屋以外にも、
各拠点の範囲内はすべてレストエリアとして扱われます。
ですので、3都市の宿屋以外でもレストボーナスを得ることが可能です。
In 3 cities tehre are private inn rooms (just like ver 1) but in ARR FFXIV aside form the inn, all surrounding areas by the base will be considered as rest area, so it is possible to get rest bonus outside of the inn inside the 3 cities.

現状では、右クリックしながらドラッグするとカメラとキャラクターが一緒に回転します。左クリックしながらドラッグすることでカメラのみ操作できます。
If you right click and drag it will move the camera and the character together. If you left click and drag it will only control the camera only.

It's page 35 and doesn't have a name on it... guessing it's from Connect!On (Famitsu) and should be able to get it online but I'm not sure if this is Connect!On for sure so if you buy and don't see it... sorry. If you're going to buy it, most likely it's on the newest Connect!On that just came out for 2013 January edition, just came out on the 27th in Japan

No matter what type of work, when you really work hard, you will get tired and I think it is hard. しかし、現実の仕事や学校生活の中では、たとえどんなに頑張っても「表立った結果」に繋がらないこともあります。ですが、頑張った経験は自分に残りますし、周囲の人はちゃんとそれを見てくれていると思います。
But in reality through work or going to school, there are times where no matter how much you try hard it doesn't produce the result you wanted, but the effor you put into it, that experience will remain with you, and I believe there are people around you that will was looking at that.

吉田はFFを背負う以上、「表立った結果」にこだわってこれからも努力を続けますが、
なによりも「一生懸命努力をする」ことが、大切だと思いますので、
少しでもそんな風に思って頂ければ幸いです:)
As for myself, since I am carrying FF with me I will continue to put effort to get the best results out. I believe it's really important to try as hard as possible and put in as much effort as you can so if you can feel the same I would appreciate much :)

It's full on JP talk show, no subtitles, nothing.
It's on JP video site called nico nico douga and it's JP version of something like Youtube.
I'll just point out some stuff the talk show says but there is nothing special, new (regarding FFXIV)

Video is 30min long, first half of the video was just showing trailers...

Almost 15min and YoshiP not on the nico nama lol... they just showed the End of Era trailer and Limit Break Trailer so far and just the 4 guys hosting the show talking about what is going to happen to all the current character and reading that it's going to stay.

Minimum they talk in here is Core 2 Duo with GeForce 8800.

Another trailer at 16min, alpha black shroud pt2 trailer.... still no YoshiP lol - They talking how the hell is core2 duo processor going to run this game couple of times lol. Lots of the comments loving that piano BGM everyone on forums liking, then saying how the environment sound is built on each spots which must be really hard to do.

YoshiP finally coming up on 22:00 (8min left on video...)

Q1) Is alpha version's level, gear being carried over?
A1) No, it will be wiped. He does say since the guy on the right commented earlier saying for those playing current version didn't make alpha they are going to be sad, YoshiP replied here saying he's going to add more on 12/3. Then the guy on the right says, if current version still fails to make it then I'm going to laugh...

Q2) Can we see the actual machine that is running that is running the alpha?
A2) If you can provide the PC I'll bring it there so you can see. You can make a lot of detailed changes in the settings this time so you can lower the spec to make it possible. If you are going to make it playable in every country it needs to run in a low spec that's why we have it set low spec.

Q3) How are the users feedback on alpha test?
A3) Right now I'm watching this live while I'm in alpha test with other players. They are enjoying it a lot.

YoshiP since we talked about low spec I can prepare low spec, mid spec, high spec.

Guy on the right says something he shouldn't of said... lol
"I bought a notebook to play DQX"....(DQX - Dragon Quest 10 MMO out only for Wii...lol)

It's not a beak, it's either a headress or a wing tip on the backside of her portrait.

There are a total of 8 primals in this image for those who couldn't figure it out, clockwise from the center top: Bahamut, Shiva, Titan, Ramuh, Odin, Leviathan, Garuda, and Ifrit. And a 9th bonus primal in the bottom right hand corner at the foot of Odin's trusty steed: King Moggle Mog the Moogle King of course.

I see garuda now but before she looked like a big chocobo
