If that was the problem then you should have said so in the first place. There's more than one solution for that, but your proposal for fixing it is not the only way. To me it sounds like something SE should consider adding more difficulty to, such as making mobs get light party and full party boosts like players do, or anything like that.
Oh my bad, did you edit your post? Disregard this post and the last one if you didn't. I honestly thought I was replying to someone that was suggesting SE increase spawn rates. But do read below even if you do disregard it.
They probably need to give players a joined party level so that when 2 people group up it gives them both exp based on their combined strength. At the same time they should get a bonus for fighting mobs stronger than their party level to encourage team play in the game. Hope that's not too confusing. (Example: Two level 50s party up, their party level makes them level 53 like. So they only get the juicy experience for killing level 53+ mobs. On top of that they get a decent bonus for the number of players partied up). Now I can't fill in all the blanks cause I'm sure there will need to be some extra balancing in between that idea. And I don't get payed to. But this would definitely encourage larger parties to focus on fewer mobs. Maybe we'd actually see some parties fighting some of the meaner spawns in the game. I wouldn't mind a 5 minute fight if it dished out some of the best experience points the game has ever seen.
