I think it's great to enjoy a game, I wouldn't be playing FFXIV if I didn't enjoy it. The devs are obviously doing something right in my opinion, since I'm playing their game over others. So thanks :)
That said, putting a "thank you devs!!!" post up is almost always going to draw a crowd of people that dislike what the devs are doing, and when you make a post like this, you should expect some amount of backlash. -

You know, you can totally criticize something and still be grateful/thankful/appreciative right? Just because people are on top of the devs for their bad decisions doesn't mean ALL of them are being critical in a vicious way. The devs are adults with a backbone.
