You also say this like that's not a significant number. Also: having an aegis doesn't exclude you from having an ageist or its upgraded equivalent. Some people may like the alternate look even if they have the real thing. Maybe shiva just has more players who aren't offended by this thing? I don't know. But I can promise you I've seen a higher ratio of these items than what you claim. I'm not sure why it's important though.

The explanation is flawed, and doesn't really address the logic as to why Aegis is a problem but those items are not. It's been oft cited that "Aegis is "iconic." Frankly I think Excalibur falls under that moniker as well, but what the hell do I know?

Excalipoor doesn't share the same or even a similar model. Most people don't even know what guns look like because they aren't show on a player's model unless they're shooting. Mindmelter has a significantly different color scheme.
