The explanation is flawed, and doesn't really address the logic as to why Aegis is a problem but those items are not. It's been oft cited that "Aegis is "iconic." Frankly I think Excalibur falls under that moniker as well, but what the hell do I know?

Excalipoor doesn't share the same or even a similar model. Most people don't even know what guns look like because they aren't show on a player's model unless they're shooting. Mindmelter has a significantly different color scheme.

I'll give you my explanation again since you so deeply need it

-Does not use the exact same model with a smiley face drawn on it
-I suggested they do this shield in a similar style because I like the Excalipoor, which does have history in FF and was a funny addition
-No other REMA in the game has its EXACT model/color taken and given as a level 1 lockstyle with a smiley face drawn on it
--I did not like Mindmelter, I did not like the Death penalty copy, the only thing to be said about those is they come from harder NMs (for its era) but I still disliked their additions.

Stop trying to twist my words of my opinion to belittle it. We are all entitled to our opinions and you don't have to force yours on others
