Before the level 99 af1 upgrades were introduced, I dropped a lot of half sets of af1 for bag space. Now I'm in the situation where I have to complete af1 sets twice, it's a real hassle. Namely I dropped BST af1 boots a while back, and it was the only piece of af1 I had, so now I have to complete the last 4 pieces, only to drop them, so I can do it all over again. I paged a GM to see if recovery was an option but they said there is a time limit on such things.

Also, can anyone confirm/deny that upgrading a piece of armor to 99 counts as dropping it for the purposes of repeating af1 quests via the memory wipe NPC?
you don't have to drop it to repeat.

Thank you for the info, I didn't know. It worked as you said.

On the off chance Camate or another community rep is still reading this thread. I was wondering if there was a way to fix how the mobs stack when you pull large groups. Often they'll either run behind you (due to latency I'm guessing) or constantly dance around making it irritating to hit/ws them as melee. I'm not sure how you can fix this, but it's something that has bothered me for a long time.

It's just their pathing mechanics. Those same mechanics can be used to fix the issue. If you pull multiple mobs, when you're ready to fight them, position yourself against a wall on your right side as you're facing the mobs. Now slowly back up while engaged, without moving away from the wall. If the wall is large/solid enough, the mobs will stack neatly in front of you. If it's too small of a surface, they will spill out from it and surround you otherwise.
