Make Quietus a critical hit WS!

thats basicalliy what im gettn from op too atomic, and whats funny is i chose cala over redemption based on looks, and was super happy when it ended up being easier to get and better XD

i currently use rr/apoc/a&o an tor is avg around 1800-2600 with spikes up to 5k

on /thf i did 8k to either orthus or amarok dont recall, was apoc/rr/gc on that one

working on /mnk next its 25atm and thenill see about rl/rr/gh (thats the suggested atma setup if i recall plz correct me)

ive got /sch but havnt tried it out just yet but figured id wanna give it a go

when im not 2boxn my whm i use mc/vissic/apoc an was actually surprised how effective it was

honestly jar i liked your idea. Anything to boost our ws phase and i'd be happy. I just love crit based ws personally D:

also I'd seriously recommend atma of the scorpion queen. 6 hit completely blows any minor boost in ws that another atma gives. Add in the 10% crit rate to further push our melee dmg higher is pretty crazy.

With SQ/RR/AoA i'm averaging 1500-2500 (there are spikes but these numbers are very consistent)

and its a 6 hit with capped haste and I'm making use of all the attack+ that drk can equip.

any idea whats the best brewed ws drk can use vs isgebind? whm(my mule)?

You know, I have to wonder if people even know how to gear for Quietus. I mean, 40% each on STR & MND means you don't gear for Quietus like you do for, say, Guillotine. Hasn't anyone tried using both STR and MND in their WS set for this?

It doesn't matter because STR and MND both have the exact same effect on the WS secondary modifier, only STR also helps your fSTR and Attack and MND does not. Therefore in equal amounts STR is always better than MND.

I'd love to know how needing mnd attack and STR is different than needing mnd attack and STR

at 100% TP this is only 10% def ignore meaning that you still need some attack.. ( say.. 765ish on avrg) sure you can stack a bit more STr but most gear DRK gets has both attack and STR/(lolmnd)

the FTP of 3 is what makes the weaponskill crap.

guil is 0.875 hitting 4 times meaning its base damage before WSC is higher and even than the WSC on guil is 25%*2

the 40%*2 WSC doesnt really help too its the only empy that i know that doesnt get a flat 60% WSC

the 15% extra str mnd WSC hardly makes it better than guil if its even better at all and with DRK being able to cap attack so easy only Cratio really put a smack on WS damage (that and no Crit to get a mindless +30~100% damage too -_-)



On another note Q gets bad skilchain properties for an empy being able to ONLY do darkness while torcleaver can do light and drkness

Mathematics does not lie. I already know that STR is better than MND for Quietus so why would I need to test it when I already know what the answer is?
