Because people make mistakes. Maybe you did the math incorrectly, for example. You're human, so there's no denying that possibility. It would be better to test it for yourself and compare the results, first with STR alone, and second with both STR and MND. And since we're dark knights, don't forget the Absorb spells.

By themselves, without considering fSTR and Attack, MND and STR have exactly the same effect on the WS damage equation. They are both 40%.
However STR also adds ATT and affects your fSTR. For this reason there is no possible way that MND can be better than STR on Quietus.
