Yes! please keep us updated!Thank you for help.
No I didn't tried the Directx 9 mode.
The game is installed on my other hard drive (C is a SSD with windows only, D is a HDD for games and programs).
I'll try the game this weekend without my graphic card, as I sent it to after sales, and I got a refund to buy another (Nvidia GTX 1070). So I'll try with my Intel HD Graphics this weekend, but I think it was the GC...
I keep you informed.
Good morning,
sorry to interrupt. I didn't read the rules here but I believe its ok to reply.
I'm having the same issue as well. I sent an Email to the support today.
I would like you to notice that I didn't update anything or changed anything on my PC.
I was playing smoothly past weeks for more than 8 hours daily.
but this problem accrued suddenly.
and I searched for this error in advance, I found it here btw
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...Error-11000002
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...error-11000002
but the issue is not resolved back then.
I'm using
MSI GTX 1080 Ti gaming x
win 10
intel i7 7700k
#update
I found more threads, angry ones xD
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...rsistent-on-PC
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...PUTER-LOCKS-UP
I don't want to play on DirectX 9 even if that fix might work for some.
:
and Thank You all

For years, i suffered from this dx11000002 error aka "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" (sometimes i was getting crashes literally in every dungeon i did, always right before or during the last boss fight) playing FF XIV (i've never, ever experienced this problem with any other mmos or singles).
I tried to perform a "clean installation" of Windows (10 for the moment), to re-download the game client, to change something in the win registry (like TdrDelay and stuff), or to use different gpu drivers, etc. — nothing really helped me, the error always got back.
Some days ago i finally paid attention to this "possible" solution: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...n-Nvidia-cards, but instead of increasing the voltage i toned down my Vcard's GPU Clock a little (just by 1,5%), i think the exact % depends on your Vcard's specs, mine, for example, wasn't even overclocked. The idea is, you should find a stable point for your Vcard to work properly with FFxiv (or any other game you have similar problems with).
I saw topics of the kind here and there before, but ignored them for some reason. Surprisingly, that trick works for me. IT'S A MIRACLE! The method is suitable for AMD hardware, as well.
I hope our moderators can stick that thread, or make a special post, or something instead of closing(!) such useful threads, because many ppl... they, umm, you know, are just like me, lol.

Thank you for the suggestion Nereikia.
I don't necessarily want to recommend this method, just because I do not have the experience changing voltage settings on a GPU and wouldn't want anyone to damage their hardware.
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
I have an almost similar problem except after some windows update Directx 10 and 11 seem to be missing from my computer. I can play the game in DX9, but after 15-20m i get laggy and sometimes crash. I bought a whole new video card, clean installed and still have the same issues. I only know DX10 and 11 are missing because I did a benchmark test and it says that it can't find either with my video card (I also updated my integrated video card also, no luck).

Can you elaborate on the kind of issue you are having?
Please provide:
- Platform (PC, PS4, Mac)
- Type of connection (wired or wireless)
- Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
- Everything you have tried to resolve the issue
Hope to be of assistance

Hello ac_king_chris, Thank you for your response!
Here are some suggestions we would like you to try. Please let us know if any of these work for you.
- Update/reinstall Graphics card drivers
- Disable all programs/overlays running in the background
- Perform a clean boot*
- Set compatibility mode to Windows 7/8**
- Make sure that any anti-virus software they have has the appropriate exceptions
- Install game on C drive (The same drive as the Operating System)
Hope to be of assistance.
