Fatal DirectX 11 Error STILL Persistent on PC

Because as of today this issue is still UNRESOLVED.

I continue to get the Fatal DirectX Error when using Direct X11 and playing on PC.
This error began to occur at the start of patch 3.4 and continues to be an issue when playing with these settings.

This is DirectX Fatal Error 11000002 and ONLY happens when playing FFXIV.

My Graphics Information is as follows:
Display Driver: NVIDIA GeForce GTX960
Driver Hardware Version: 375.70
NVIDIA GeForce Experience Version: 3.1.0.52

I have tried EVERY fix offered in both my old thread and threads that have come before when trying to correct or fix this error.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a later version of my graphics driver, I have tried uninstalling Nvidia Experience. I have tried everything with nothing fixing this. Please do not move this thread to resolved because it was NEVER resolved.

I can confirm that this happens to me also
I have a Sapphire Nitro R9 380.
In DirectX 9 mode it runs without crashes but when i switch to DirectX 11 the crash may occur to anywhere from 5mins to 1+hour into the game.
I'm running on 16.12.1 radeon drivers

Rolling back to 16.11.5 (AMD) seems to be working for me, no crashes so far

I'm getting the same error. I just bought this game and its pretty much unplayable. I've tried a dozen fixes including setting a TdrDelay, updating drivers, disabling every other app and running in full screen mode. I am at a loss.

Also with a Radeon R9 380.

Have you tried turning Vsync off.

I know a fair few people that have fixed dx11 problems just doing that. including myself.

I've got the same problem, also with an Radeon R9 380. All my drivers are up-to-date (which may be the problem) and yes, I turned v-sync off. Problem still happens. 16.12.2 driver.

are you using the software that comes with your GPUs to auto update? I was having issues with geforce experience then after doing a clean driver install it fixed it for me. I strongly recommend doing clean driver installs instead of allowing the software to do the upgrades.

I too can confirm that this problem still persist. Had it everyday since last year December while raiding with my static. Mostly happen around 2-3 hours of playtime.

I've also tried everything: Reinstalling the game, PC, TdrDelay, Clean driver reinstall, Uninstalling Geforce Experience and none of them worked.
The error also trigger whether I'm using Fullscreen or Borderless Window.

My graphics information is:
NVIDIA GT 755M SLI with driver version 376.33
Geforce Experience V.3.2.0.96

Having the same issue, just recently made a thread about this with a list of all my attempted solutions. Feel free to go there and try things that you haven't tried yet, they may work for you. Otherwise, I'm still having troubles here, and it's wasting my free 30 days of gameplay and potential days to level and play with my friends.

Same problem (dx 11000002). It is largely in the dungeons and it is not constant. Can not show the whole day, or 4 times in half an hour (in the dungeons).

GTX 780 driver v. 376.33
Windows 8.1 / 10 (dx 11-12) the same error.
CPU Q9300 (2.5->3.2 ghz) / X5492 (3.4->~4 ghz)
DDR II/III 4/16 gb


Checked on 2 pc error is the same. GPU one.
