What do you think , maybe a new race something like Elin?

OMG, look dude honestly... leave Tera and it's races and systems to itself. And quit making new threads >.< Your setting yourself up for failure and trolling by relating every thread to Tera.

If Tera was more successful sure, but not Elin we already have a token animal race.

I'm just making suggestions and creating a discussion. I'm sorry if my ideas do not align with your preferences. But I have the same right as everyone else starting a discussion on things that I like.

No. Tera is Tera, Final Fantasy XIV is Final Fantasy XIV. They are two separate universes, they should never meet.

I played Tera for 2 weeks and came back running to FFXIV. I regretted my purchase. The combat got old after 2 weeks and when I realized the BAM's were recycled and it was the same battle mechanics. Tera has a lot of nice things about it, but not enough to keep me entertained.

PS - Elin's are the pedophile's race of choice. They should have no connection with FFXIV. The FF universe has such a depth of ideas that Yoshi can borrow... it doesn't need to look for inspiration from the new kid on the block.

Tera's character designs are among the worst I've ever seen in an MMO. It's embarrassing, to be honest.

I would rather we had Minecraft avatars running around Ul'dah than Elin. Anything, ANYTHING would be preferable to Elin.

I like modesty in my games, kthx.

Last time I checked lalafells have a bikini option. Also this discussion is silly without looking at the game creators countries this type of chibi characters are common in Asian culture and the people. I'm sure most of the offended players come from western countries. Eldin are very very normal for Asian games.

To be fair it is mainly the west, because you could be arrested if you have pictures of even drawings of "child like characters" that may be scantly clothed or in a provocative pose if they so felt like it.

I'm just saying that I like the modesty in FFXI and XIV and that they're able to make female characters look "sexy" without having to resort to thong-like gear and impracticality. Ex. Coatee

Nope, but if you honestly can say you never seen this in an MMO (especially XI and XIV) I'd be quite interested in joining the servers you join since it gets quite annoying watching people sacrifice performance because they look good naked.

Yes, I totally agree. But that doesn't mean there's no place for thongs and impracticle outfits. This is a fantasy game! Let people live their fantasy their own way!
