Having it so we can graft different branches to the trees with horticulture {you can do this irl} to change the produce the trees bear. {lemons, oranges, limes, etc..}
Much like how we can buy seeds with cowries we could buy the branches the same way, however they would permanent a bit more like the pasture leavings till you switched out the branches.
{so i guess they would cost a fair bit more cowries, compared to seeds}

An irrigation system for the farm plots. There's a stream right there, we could run some pipes and a pump into it.

It is strange there is no fishing on this island. I don't actually like fishing, but it makes no sense you can do spearfishing, but not fishing itself.


Flying feels kinda a letdown after you unlock it. There are nothing worthwhile to collect at Rank 10 compared to Rank 9, save for that you move faster and can catch that dumb-looking Paissa, or whatever its name is. Need some contents that make use of flying, like a floating isle.


You should be able to schedule Granary to go different places each day instead of you having to visit it to change places.


There blue token rewards, please. If SE has no idea what to add yet, then add some RNG boxes for max-rank players to have things to consume their weekly 25,000-token income.

I'd love an underwater cave system that leads to a large open cavern beneath the Island. Also wouldn't mind some remnants of the old pirate docks tucked away somewhere cause it doesn't look like they left any abandoned buildings/docks and that just doesn't make a lot of sense for what was supposed to be a pirate hideout.

Also a significantly better UI for the pasture/garden cause it absolutely blows in it's current incarnation. Like how did that even pass QA it's so bad.

We definitely need access to retainers and menders while on the island so that we don't need to rush out to take care of those things while waiting for duties to pop. I tried once exiting through the gate that leads to the Drydocks so I could use the mender there, but apparently that gate cannot be accessed while in queue, so I had to pay for a teleport to repair my gear.

Another thing that would be great would be a skywatcher so that we know when weather patterns are changing so that we can collect the rarer animals.

Also, a way to formulate a gathering list that stays visible. My memory is pretty bad, so I have to physically write down which things I need to gather for my upcoming production schedule, so a way to keep track of what we need to gather that is accessible in game would be a huge quality of life increase.

Odd as it sounds, I'd like a way to downgrade the plots and animals so that I get my nice forest back on the way to the bathhouse.
Hopefully we can get other biomes at some point. I'd love my own little guiding lands island, going from alpine mountain, to warm gridanian meadow, to mor dhona esque environment to tropical ciedelas beach

and to kick some of those damn mammets off my island. Too many of them

also as a thought: usable deck chairs on the beach.

Lots of good ideas here.

-Caves! Has to be some on a island like this.
- access to retainer
- more seating areas.
- a bathhouse that isnt a giant cereal bowl
- more landmarks that you can relax at and enjoy the view

Well there is the sunken pirate ship in the north of the island. Also based on dungeons we do in the area pirates seem to like to build hideouts inside caves, so if there really is a cave behind that rock the all that might be in there.
{thinking about it tho} There is a space that might be a good spot for a pirate dock behind a glamour wall on the southern side of the island. {I'll get an image later}

Agreed and more than just the tunnel between the hideaway and the island as a hole.
I wouldn't be surprised if the island wasn't hiding a rabbit warren like need work of tunnels underneath it the pirates once used.

Both of those are great quality of life additions that really do feel like they need to add.

Just add an any sized house plot and let the entire island have furnishings on it without a cap, problem solved.

Make FC housing on the island. Then let you be able to have events and huge parties on it. Make the cozy cabin and real cabin not a open wall hut.

- Sizable space for a pirate ship to hide/dock. {the regalia for size comparison is quite small there.}

There are island glamour prisms.
It would be no stretch of the imagination to have a pirate dock hidden here like the entrance of Rhalgr's reach.

A few things I'd like to see:

First, I'd love to see more animal variety. New variants of existing ones (Red chocobo for example) or new species, like crabs replacing the Apkallu on the east shore. They don't need to drop new items, just having variety would be nice.

Second, the starting beach is barren and unused. Shouldn't we get an option to remodel or modify it? A quay,maybe a parasol, anything really. Maybe even a fishery or a bigger boat. It feels off to see it abandonned with twigs littering the place when you can go as far as building a lighthouse on the cape.

Third, I agree that we need fishing, but not the usual. Mining/logging were reduced to the very basic "click shiny, get item" method of gathering to avoid forcing people to level up gatherers, and the same should apply to fishing. Maybe make it so that there are fishing shiny spots near beaches/ponds/rivers and just automatically fish something out by clicking on it?

Fourth: Outdoor. Furniture. When I first heard of the island, it sounded like we'd get some sort of personal housing outside the usual housing districts, which it sorta *is*,but there's no option to put down some outdoor furniture. The 10 bonfires I bought at the last summer event are eating up my retainer's inventory and I'm itching to put them to use.

Lastly, we need to remove rest days for mammets. They don't need those. :D (j/k)

I'd definitely like more areas to relax in, or to travel to a second island with more/new things to gather, different biomes. Desert oasis? Volcanic island? Snowy mountain?? Heck yeah, I'd be down for those.

I know some QoL changes like two "collect all and resume/dismiss caretaking" buttons would be GREAT.

Yes, agreed a few optional mobs that are purely externally looking different, maybe a blue and green chocobo before a red one tho lol.
Having them behind a catch/ catch release "x" number of the mob before it appears might be fun? maybe in "x" weather too?

The starter beach dose needs a landmark for sure. Maybe a beach hut or pergola as other options.

Was also thinking that maybe we need a glamour mallet option too. It seems like some people want rid of them but maybe having them take on the look of minions you have ay your own desire with glamour would be a good middle ground? I don't see them removing the mallets out right, we interact with them to do island management after all.

Right, no more fighting or worrying over the most popular or scenic houses in the wards. The island itself should of been housing for XIV from the beginning. As for suggestions I think it would be nice for the seasonal event stuff to also be implemented into your island. You want endless christmas trees or a snowy haven with starlight hangings ? Be my guest. Let us use decor as we see fit. And I wouldn’t mind having main characters show up on your island and chill throughout the space, possibly give you unique foods for your pets or rare items that can be used for the workshop or landmarks.

When I.S. first released, like many I went for it- I didn't rush though but I did do everything it had to offer & was left disappointed
Currently, Island Sanctuary is just Tataru's Sweatshop Simulator

My suggestions:

I want seasonal events not just in the main cities, but on the Island Sanctuary as well

Because?: I think the Island is nice in its own way, but it's not how I'd want my island to look.
In games like Animal Crossing, Harvest moon & stardew valley, there are seasonal changes as well as in-game events where you can get rare/ seasonal foods/ items & have seasonal/holiday mini events & meet special NPCs

-I'd like to fully customize my island, by adding whatever decorations like animal crossing & inviting NPC's to live there & have a house.
A full instanced house that I can customize to my hearts content along with my island.

-The NPC's we could invite should be the Scions & other various NPC's that can be tied in.
Why wouldn't the Scions want to check in on their friend/colleague, the WoL? or Vice versa.

I really hope the devs expand upon it later, tenfold; & actually give us something more in line with what makes games like animal crossing, harvest moon & stardew valley fun.
I'd hate for the dev team to have introduced a feature only to give some excuse like "limitations" as to why it can't or won't be developed to be better than what it currently is.
Or ignore improving Island Sanctuary altogether & they'll instead just keep adding to the features already there, (which aren't much.)


As island sanctuary currently stands, I've lost all interest in it because it's not unique, it's not fun, you cannot customize- only 'improve' buildings which do change, but it's in theme with the island. It is currently another doman enclave but with pets & mammets
and if new rewards don't somehow include Hilda's hairstyle, I won't participate :(

The orchid idea got me thinking on other field types.

came to the idea of a Plantation

Where you can make a custom set of gather points going out and transplanting the gather items of your choosing bit like capturing critters on the island for the pasture.

Putting it to the south of the hideaway with a little terraforming so the Plantation can also be expanded to water items too, easily.

Happy to agree here. If they're forced to have 2 rest days each week then they should disappear on those rest days instead of hanging around in their usual places.

if your looking to save on work the tomato growth could also be used for beans too

but please expand cropland

the workshop work order save preset is great but like macros could we have a page that we can use with all characters
running 3 islands in 3 regions it would help greatly more that having the time
